I had a huge hype for this game since Epic promised a bigger, more epic sequel.This is partially true.The campaign is great, even amazing at times, and is even better with a partner.The scenery is definitely bigger and you will be fighting more locust than usual thanks to the engine upgrade. However, the multiplayer is just disappointing. Unless your host, which is random now, every game contains lag and at times its just incredible.Also the matchmaking is broken and breaks you with your party every now and then. It takes ages to join a match by yourself as well. Unless you like games with unpredictable lag, I recommend passing on this and getting World at War or Halo 3 if you haven't yet.

I LOVE THIS GAME I RECOMMEND GEARS OF WAR 2 TO EVERYBODY 5 PEOPLE OF MY FAMILY HAVE IT WE PLAY ALL THE TIME I LOVE TO HAVE XBOX LIVE THAT WAY I PLAY THIS GAME WITH MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS THAT I HAVE IN MIAMI AND MEXICO THAT IS JUST AWESOME

if this is anything like GOW one it will be great. it will take over almost all online games. GOW one was my favorite game until other games took over the online. i wasnt a fan of third person shooters until i played #1. i hope that this game sets good standerds for all other games coming out

GREAT GAME, EXCELLENT ADDITION TO THE FIRST GAME. PRETTY MUCH IS THE FIRST GAME EXCEPT IT NOW HAS MUCH BETTER THINGS TO DO, SUCH AS: 4 PLAYER CO-OP CAMPAIGN. 5 PLAYER HORDE WHICH IS AWESOME!! AND UP TO 5V5 IN MATCHMAKING. ENDING, NOT SO PLEASED WITH, I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS.

This is a very fun game if you enjoyed the first one. They didnt add too much but thats not necessarily a bad thing. Controls are identical, which is a good thing. A few new enemies. A good solid shooter.

I enjoyed Horde and the campaign very much but i felt that the multiplayer lacked some things. All the map packs released were pretty good because i could play Horde

i have the first gears of war and the game is good but when gears of war 2 came out i completed forgot the others i have. i played it with my friends every night.

this game is way better then the first cause the story keeps getting better all the time and i cant wait for the third one to come out cause i want to see how it all ends if you want a really fun game buy the gears of war series and you wont be let down.

If you like the first Gears Of War then you'll absolutely love Gears 2.There is just so many good things about this game is almost flawless.The story maybe a bit off,but none the less this is Gears 2,not Gears 1.5.This is a absolute must have game.

This is hands down the best gears game in the franchise in my opinion. Way better than 3, just because i think it has the best storyline out of all of them. If you enjoy FPS games, I highly recommend this one.

i love this game. horde is one of the most fun game modes in an xbox 360 game. i played co op campaign with my friend for 6 hours straight and got a ton of achievements.this is one xbox game that you have to buy.

the online in this one is so much better then it was in GOW1. horde is another really really fun addition to the game because it is really long and never gets boring. in my opinion it is a lot better then COD5.

Very much looking forward to this game upon launch, but multiplayer was broken, the single player is epic, though. multiple title updates fixed multiplayer but too little, too late.

Single player is very fun and playing co-op with friends over xbox live is a better time and nice addition to the series. Can't wait to see the next game

at the beggining gears 2 was slow matchmaking but now epic came out with an update (also its really fast with friends) but i love horde i usually dont get past level 20 but its cool to play with firends

Game is fun to play, a little too easy at times, decent length, seems to be a lot of repetition(as in a lot of games unfortunately).
