It so amazing. The graphics are great and i have a TV from the 90s' so that says something. Plus its challenging but not rip my head off cause i cant pass level 2 or somthing. Epic has yet again made an amazinggg game. Its also extremely addicting. :)

This game is amazing. Graphics, online, horde, and the story are all worth the money to spend on this game. What are you doing still reading this review just go out and buy it!!!!!!

the campaign was the best ive ever played. online experiance was great horde is better than call of dutys zombies reason-game play is better and you can leave and join back

this game is awsome! but there is some issues with it. the shotgun used to be awsome but they took down the power and the how fast it shoots. and when someone revs up there chain saw you can no longer stagger them so they will just keep coming. the revolver is no longer that cool because you cant blow off limbs. hammer of dawn now has ammo, and the sniper isnt as accurate. it is very anoying because sometimes ull be having a good match and then the host will quit and so u dont get any points that match. other than those issues the game is geat. the new modes are fun. the new executions are awsome, the boss battles in sigle player are more fun. pick this game up and also if havent already, buy the first gears of war, you enjoy that maybe even more

Let me start by saying that I was really pumped for this game. The campain, horde, and everything else was really fun to play. But then I went online. The lobby system is nice, but it is NEAR IMPOSSIBLE to find a game quickly unless your party is full. Also, they made the weapons much too powerful now. The shotgun downs in only 2 shots, and it doesn't really matter how far away you are. Also there is a rediculous amount of lag online. Some games are so laggy that I have unlimited lancer bullets and can't pick up other weapons on the map. I really liked this game until I went online and played with my friends. Overall, I would recommend buying this but don't expect anything spectacular. Honestly, the first one was much better.

I know this review in before the game comes out but i can Guarantee this will be one of the greatest games out there. Gears of War 1 was a great hit. Even beating Halo 3 and Halo 3 was a great hit as well but lacked alot of graphics. This just from all the trailers and game plays show that this game is going to be great. No not great exciting. Ive been waiting since June 08 for this game to come out. I believe this game will be the greatest game to come out compared to halo trilogy. You can go by ur opinion but i think this game is gonna be exciting and gonna enjoy playing it

This game is Almost as good as the first one. The co-op campaign was fun on hardcore and on insane it took just a little more time than the first game. The online multiplayer system is Much better than the first because there is no Host who gets to delay the game for a long time. I still feel that the online is lacking compared to Halo 3 and Call of Duty 4 because of the speed of finding a game online. Gears 2 Takes a very long time to find a Game online. If you liked the first gears you will surely like this game. It all depends on if you like 3rd person shooters weather or not if you Like or LOVE this game. The choice is yours.

I really like the this series. The game has a very cinimatic feel to it. It really puts you in the game. YOu feel a wide range of emotions. You will have no problems replaying the game over and over. Now the bad. The multi player is HORRIBLE. The move of the characters is sooooooooo slow. The only way to move fast is to sommersault all over the place, or duck and running making precision movement terrible. Shooting on the move yea right. If you are buying this just for the mutl player, save your money and stick with Halo.

This is a pre-release comment, but holy cow. I've been watching all of the online videos about the campaign, horde mode and multiplayer, and i was just blown away. I still play gears 1 which is great, but gears 2 i think will blow everyones minds. With the new 5-on-5 multiplayer, the matches will be much more intense, and more strategized. Along with horde mode, and the story line, this game will be #1 for sure. Now in gears 2, the achievements are much easier. You can basically get all of your achievements in horde, campaign, and in online mathches: ranked or player. Overall this game is a knockout, Fallout 3 isnt s*** compared to this.

It is excellent. One of the best games i've ever played. It filled my expectations. The storyline is amazing, the new monsters, new weapons, and the Locust look far more badass!!

Its amazing whats not to like about it. The game is addicting and you will probably lose track of time playing it on live with your friends. The graphics are awesome and clear and i like how there is a better storyline to the game. There are glitches, but I'm sure they will be fixed. Its not a game for kids under 17 and I know there are younger kids playing it, but please if youre are a parent say no to ur children. Im 17 and when the first one came out i played it when i was younger but im talking like 8 year olds playing a bloody and violent game like this. Id definitely recommend this to others but not if you are under 17.

Great story! The hoarde mode and training ground can make it still fun for those of you that don't have live, but if you do it can be a little laggy and you disconnect often.

Graet sequal to a great game! Being able to have bots on muliplayer is alot more fun. Campaign is fun to play over and over. Alot easuier to get mulitplayer achevments.

It had some of the best graphics I've ever seen and gameplay is great. Multiplayer is good, new and improved weapons. and different creatures never seen before.

I just got this game today from Bestbuy, the launch day. I am playing the game right now and excited for the contests going on during the launch weekend. The graphics are amazing and the controls are easy. The horde are somewhat hard to play against, being this is my first Gears of Wars game. I should have bought the first one... :( But, I am glad I have this game. It rocks! I would recommend Gears of War 2 to any of my friends, and for that matter anyone!

Lets face it, if you are a fan of Gears of War there is nothing I could say that would change your mind. Which is a good thing since Gears of War 2 is a solid second edition to the popular thrid-person shooter. Solid gameplay coupled with smarter enemy A.I. Gears of War 2 should be on your must buy list for Christmas 2008. Gears of War 2 story may be short the co-op, horde mode, and online multiplayer should keep Gears of War spinning in your 360 for quite some time. This game may be more of a evolution than a revolution, but that is not necessarily a bad thing.

i saw the mods on the unreal tournament3 and to be honest i bought that game just for that. its like 15 minutes of every new thing they have made ,added or just improved on. new kills like the torque bow decapitqation and the sniper sledge hammer, my personal fave is the full mount and smash where you climb on top of a downed enemy and bash their face in bare handed.....its rad. gears of war 2 is in a whole different calss.......halo who? ha ha ha

Epic did it agian, this time ten-fold! Game play is smoother, graphics are tighter and game play is amazing. Haven't been a fan for long but I'm in awe at the work put in! Character development scores huge points, as well as the voice over work, it was on point. I might have a new all time favorite game, not since Red Faction and the first Halo have I been this passionate about a game. The ending wasn't as EPIC as anticipated but none the less, I was happy to see my troops come home! I can't wait for GOW3! FRAG THE LOCUST and CLAIM VICTORY!

This game has incredible graphics and a great story line. It is so much fun to play in single player and multiplayer. Overall, a great game.
