got it at 12:01 am on November 7th gotta say it's a great game,and is ever much more appealing then the first gears of war.still find the ability to jump over things a bit tricky.I started out with the training mode just to refamilirize myself,and did a little online play.I look forward to there being a gears of war 3 if that were to happen.keep up the good job epic games.

Honestly, it is a really good campaign and has AMAZING graphics .... but I wouldn't play the multiplayer unless you have alot of time to kill, the match finding system takes forever. I average about 3-5+ minutes to find each match.

I just played this game at my friend's house today and I was blown away by the graphics. It's an amazing game that's suprisingly easy to pick up and play. The enemies are big and smart. They duck under cover and some are super lethal and won't go down! The action is intense and can't get old. There are so many ways to kill the enemies, my favorite is the Chainsaw.

Can't wait for three! Amazing game. Must have. Fun online but is very hard and weird at first. I quit playing online but you might like it. Half way first person, halfway second person view. A halfbody view. That's not second person, that would be seeing your front. Like when you run to the bottom of the screen on an rpg free-roam game.

Well people who don't like shooters and didn't like the first game won't like this one ... for everyone else get ready for lots of fun hours:) ... i heard that this one is gona be even more brutal then the previous one so that is a plus to me... and mulit player co-op is expanded to i think 7 players ! If you are gamer this is a must have

I like everything about Gears of War 2. Way better than Gears of War 1. I bought CoD5 thinking it would be better than GoW2. My god was I wrong! CoD5 was a huge let down. GoW really out did themselves on the sequel. Applause Applause EPIC GAMES! *clap* *clap*. You want a fun, exiting game for you xbxo 360 console. Buy Gears Of War 2!

It stills feels great to chainsaw the enemy. In this game each mode is very strong. Single player and coop feels lie a great ride. Multiplayer is difficult but with practice and with friends it is alot of fun. Horde mode is the bomb. Play by yourself or with four friends and try to survive 50 stages that get progressively harder.

Love playin the gears series. the second gears is great online in coop as expected. slow joining party games online. I think it could have been a bit more challenging than it is though. I am a amatuer and am already at act 4 with no help. The first gears kicked my butt for weeks. I'll finish this one in days.

This is one of the funnest games I have ever played...something about blowing someones head off with a shotty never gets old. There are a lot of glitches which are becoming less all the time...the newest one is ammo glitching online where you get twice the ammo and grenades. People sit around and find ways to cheat on this game which takes some of the fun out of it, other than that the campaign mode is fun especially with a friend, I even got my girlfriend to play it with me and enjoyed it. Anyone with a 360 over the age of 12 should have this game....this is pretty much the only game I play. I bought that new SOCOM Confrontation for the PS3 and after playing it I realized just how good Gears really is!!!

This is GEARS 2!!! GEt this. In my personal opinion, not quite as good as the first gears but you need to get it..... it's hard to beat the first gears, so just because I say that this one isn't as good doesn't mean you shouldn't get it!

I just got Gears of War last night at Best Buy and it was everything I expected. The campaign is so fun!!!!!!!!! The Brumaks are fun to kill and easy. The new Horde mode is one of the best features. Everything is great about it, but the matchmaking it takes to long. I recommend buying this game!!!!!

So, the campaign and gameplay in the campaign is pretty much like GOW1. What I did like about this game were some of the new weapons, including the mortar gun. You could do some serious damage with that. Some of the new Locust were pretty cool to see too. That's kind of where the positives end. The game is essentially just like GOW1. My biggest problem/gripe is that multiplayer simply does not work. I've sat with the game trying to make a connection for 30 minutes to no avail. Do your research online and find out that many, many other people are having the same problem. Hopefully I can get a game soon, because if not this game is gone.

Gears 2 is the most exciting game I have ever played. It's better than any horror movie you can see. The storyline is amazing, the way it plays out, the bosses, the critical thinking involved. I play on an old analog TV, but I see the greatest graphics. In a way to wrap this up... Best Game Ever.

A remarkable game in all aspects...story mode is jus fab...this is jus one of those games where it is actually worth buyin on the first day....so jus go n get it and experience saving humanity through Marcus fighting gut wrenching Locusts Hordes....go gears baby....bring the 3rd one out now.....

This game is nonstop fun!!!! If you feel like taking on giant monsters with your friend you do horde. If you get tired of horde you just do live with your friends. Still slow on matchmaking, Barids Ai sux he rushes then he dies then you die saving him. All around fun and you can't get bored.

If you liked Gears of War 1 then this will be worth buying. Its definetly better than the first, and the game gets even better if you do some online co-op. I play more for the campaign and it fills a couple gaps that i aparently missed. Anyway worth it love it got to buy it!!

This game is soooooo amazing!! If you liked gears 1, you will LOVE gears 2!! This is the best game ever. There is alot more action than gears 1,the game play is always changing. You also get to ride a brumack! Who doesnt want to ride a brumack! I would reccomend this game to anybody.

Ok i went to a friends house to play it and the co op is awsome the multiplayer is cool except for one map it has lika a avalanche that kills you well you should buy this game its worth it even though cod world at war is comming out i say you buy both of them and have fun

This game is so addictive that when you play you'll not notice what time it is after you play. The graphics were improved. Weapons are cool and many more new features. I would highly recommend this game.

The actual gameplay looks so similar to the first game it's ridiculous. Do not get me wrong, there are in fact some new features. I got to see Marcus Fenix grab a locust and use him for cover which was pretty bada$$. Still, I think they could have done more for the game. With such a highly anticipated title and so little new to the franchise, I can't really say the game is going to be good or bad. I know it can't be a bad game because the first one was incredible. It was such a milestone for gaming. The graphics we saw on Gears of War are the same graphics we will see on Gears of War 2. I know thats hard for you people to believe but i'm only speaking the truth. Gears of War also had very tedious gameplay at times. I'm just pulling for a good lobby system in Gears of War 2 like they had on Gears of War. I will be purchasing this game though. No reserve for me though.
