this game is great anyone that liked the first gears of war should get this game because it is so much better than the last one. this game has great graphics and a fantastic story.

Gears 2 is another great installment to the Gears of War series. Marcus, Dom, Baird, and Cole are back in action to defeat the locust horde. This is a must have for any Xbox owner.

If you thought Gears couldn't get better, you were wrong. The campaign is a little longer this time around. There are still 5 Acts, but more chapters. If you haven't played the GOW 1 capaign, like my bud who I beat it with, don't worry because the storyline isn't the best anyways. It's more about the action than the story in Gears 2. Finnally you can play ranked matches with your friends. There are five diffrent ranks online. If you felt like you were always playing people with no lives in GOW 1, worry no more you will only play people with similar ture skill. Personally I liked this game more than Cod 5, but thats just me.

Its a great game, challenging, and FUN! I recommend this to anyone who likes shooting games. Its very gory, but i don't mind.

This is going to be the game of the year and something you want. in fact this game is going to be so good i dont have an xbox 360 then you need to buy one to play this game.

gears of war 1 was kool. now gears of war 2 man this is awsome. i played a demo and trust me nothing like it ever before. mr review on this game is 100 of 5 on my rating

it is the 2nd best game so far because i think cod4 is a much better game but this game is a vary close 2nd if you want a game for christmas this is the game you want.

this is the best game ever, its so addicting and fun to play. The graphics are amazing and everything is great. ONLY bad thing is the match making is kind of slow

Unreal has a advanced pixel shader now for very realistic global shading, no more god mode while chains-awing people, they took off the active reload for sniper so you can't get downed with one shot, the lancer and other guns have "stopping power." i.e. if someone is charging you, just unload on them and they will actually slow down and will be downed very easily if they don't move out. The smoke grenade is now concussive so it will knock people down. New weapons include: a flamethrower, mortar launcher, a light machine gun, new pistol, poison grenade, and a different hammerburst.

im not into play on-line so much i'll do it but it's just like i'd get pwned alot! but the thing im worryed about is another short storyline i love gears of war but i hope it has a longer storyline and i didn't really like the health thing in #1 you should have a health bar on the screen. but overall i'd saw it's the SECOND best shooting game for the three sixty. FYI time shift is the best shooting game and overall best game for the three sixty!

they had said that this game was not good but after i played it it was great. it really beat the first with a close tie. i have to recommmend this to anybody that likes games like this. it was one of the greatest games of the year. one thing that was kind of bad was xbox live because it sometimes has a bad connection to other players but it wa great.

Never played the first gears of war so i wasnt so sure about this game but i cant be torn away from this game! everyone must buy this game!!

its a good buy in my opinion because all the down loadable content comes on a redeemable card this means all the maps, and the deleted scene plus it still comes with a free 48 hour trial of gold membership so you can do multilayer right as soon as you purchase it
