Ok Gears of War is by far the most wonderful experiance I've ever played. The Lancer has a Chainsaw on it so you can slice up the Locus hord into shushi and the way the camera is angled really makes you feel like you're next to Marcus Fenix battling the enemy. The only thing I can say is if you own a PS3, 360 or PC...What are you wating for? Buy this game no gamer should be without it. The graphics are great, the story is wounderful and the music is perfict for this game. If I could I'd give it a 10/5!

When i first played this game i was amazed by the incredible graphics, i could not believe the level of realism that i was seeing , but i tought to myself that graphics are only a part of what makes a great game , when i started playing trough the first level i felt in love with the gameplay , at that moment it was so different from everything else, in this game you had to take cover and roll over to avoid getting yourself killed , you cannot win in this game simply by going on rampage and trying to take everything head on .... you need to be calm and and fast at the same time , it may seem boring but believe me when i say that it is not , the awsome gameplay and the breathtaking graphics really pull into the action in a way that only the very best can, and just when it was getting a little tiresome the game ends with an awsome final battle so it is the perfect lenght . overall one of the best games of this generation and a worthy 9.8 in my book

This game is definitely one of the best titles out there for this platform. Whether it's Single Player or Online Play, its great. It may take some practice to get used to shooting without aiming though (shooting around your cover, or the close range firefights with shotguns). Great graphics, great controls and techniques (the ability to move from cover to cover, playing grenade tag, etc.), good story. All in all, it's a must-buy for people that love the shooter genre.

This is probably the best game I've ever played for the 360. With non-stop action and enemies coming from the ground (no, seriously!) there's no telling when you'll put the controller down. Xbox Live is for the best of players. A must buy game!!!!!

A truly epic game (no pun intended, as the developer is Epic) that scored game of the year when it was released to critical acclaim. You'll have to play it yourself to understand why it is so awesome. On another note, BestBuy.com's description of the title is partially inaccurate - the setting for the game IS NOT Earth, it is a planet called Sera, which according to the storyline was colonized by humans before the events that take place in the game itself. Best Buy, please update the description so you don't look foolish. - Mike

At first I thought this was just another shooter. But then I played it and realized this is an awesome game. Bad*** enemies, sick guns, cool characters. Great gameplay and beautiful graphics give this a 5/5

This is a great game i would recommend to all my friends. Everything is great about this game from the squad to the enemies.Even though you might get stuck or glitch at times its worth the money.

An amazing game that will blow your mind, the first game to really push the limits of the Xbox Hardware. Nonstop action from start to finish

Well the game is great full of non stop action, fast thrilling speed firing, smooth graphics, best textures i have ever seen, a couple of graphic problems like it takes a little time to load some textures and when things go really high like alot of blasts and action it becomes a little slow, you can over come this problem when you install the game to the Hard Drive. Over All the game is full of Action and Thrill you should also get Gears of War 2.

I purchased Gears of War when it first came out, but it is still one of the best games around. It has better graphics then any game available for Xbox 360. This game never gets old as I could play through it 3 times and still have some things left to unlock. This version of the game is cheaper and includes and extra DVD. If you haven't purchased Gears of War yet, I suggest you go to the store and buy this game.

This game has non stop Action you CAN' stop playing it i hope the Second one is just as good as this one Nothing is wrong with it it is great you have to get this game it is the bomb.

If you like awesomeness this game is for you times one million! It has amazing weapons such as the "lancer" that you can cut the locust in half with or shoot them (it doesnt matter really its all awesome), the "hammer of dawn" wich alows you to target people and smite them down instantly, and my personal favorite the "tourqe bow" (and if you ever meet me during online play i will dominate you with it), its a bow that shoots bomb arrows and if you pull the bow to its fullest and hit somone then they will be in a world of hurt and instantly die. The story mode on this game is amazing and the co-op is also very amazing. THIS GAME IS THE BEST AND WORTH EVERY PENNY ^_____^ I have beaten this game 3 times (two times on insane) and I am looking foward to buying "GEARS OF WAR 2" from "BEST BUY" this weekend! Thank you Best Buy!

Gears of war is a one of a kind game. The weapons are very unique and i love the game play. i am looking forward to getting gears 2 for christmas. you should add this game to your collection if your into shooter games.

This is a great game and if you haven't picked it up now is a great time to get it and start killing some locust. Many hours spent late at night with some buds just chainsawing locusts and having a good time.

This game was well worth the money I spend for it. The newer maps are great and the sound quality is great. BUY THIS GAME.

Excellent beginning to my favorite series for the 360. The main reason i picked up an xbox.

Out of the many 360 titles, but very few exclusives that are actually good, this one takes the cake. The main thing is the multiplayer that gives you great fun for countless hours. At the price of $20, this is a must have essential for any 360 owner, no matter what.

What makes it so great? You can use a weapon that has a chainsaw as a bayonet on it. This is fun so you can kill your enemies and shred them into thousands of little pieces. It is a really good game. I still haven't played the second one yet. I hope it is as good or even better than the first one.

I finally know what all the hype was about with this game series. When Gear 2 drops a little more in price, I'll pick it up also.

This is easily my favorite RPG, but somtimes this game can be tiresome as walking forever.
