Poor customer service communication

I would give less than 1 if it was an option. The item arrived was dirty, I contacted customer support who asked if I wanted to keep it at a discount or receive a new one. I asked what cost a new one would be and was told no additional charge. It was to be sent to the local Best Buy for me to go to customer service to pick up. I called to verify it was there to be picked up and was told there was an issue , it arrived damaged. Later found out that was untrue, I had been given the wrong information and that Best Buy could not/would not honor it. Talked with manager. Long story short, returned the item. Got my money back and am very disappointed with the disconnect of online communication verses in store communication regarding customer service. I wasted much time on this and had to ask for an apology.

Tried to purchase two Geek Squad certified nintendo switches for my granddaughters, which online said they were in stock.. that was back in September, i did pick one up because i was told the other was gonna be a little late.. here it is the middle of October and SEVERAL phone calls to customer service giving me different stories of when and where the missing switch was.. today is October the 14th, 2025 and I was told today that there is no switches in this country to fulfill my order... this is not a very good look for Best Buy, which having the word "Best " in your name is very questionable.. I've always been happy with this store, but what is going on now seems to be a bad joke
