Purchased a new laptop came in with my old laptop to have memory removed and installed into my new laptop. Picked up next day asked customer service person if work was done she did not understand windows 8 so she closed lid and put back in box never shutting down.

Geek Squad is Awesome! We used it to set up our new computer from home. Our technical support agent was friendly, patient, and very helpful.

Before working as a graphic designer, I was a hard ware + maintenance person - Now, this is my experience at BestBuy, 14street Union square : Day #1, I have to wait in line for 45 minute for a simple installation. In fact, I did the installation my self. Too many customers compare to number of technicians Day #2, I went there to pick up at the correct time. But the person at the counter don't even know. I have to go there again. (The price of the laptop is fair and I am happy with it)

I got the extended service with a new iMac, but had them fix a laptop and another desktop all for the price of one. That made it a good deal.

Most of the time the recommendation is to purchase a new computer even if your old one can be fixed. They will fix most problems but somethings they simply don't do.
