Tech could not fix the problem so she called a center where she could get help. They work on your computer over the internet while you watch them do the work. Next time I will call instead of waiting the week.

I went in to get help on transferring files from a portable hard drive to new computer--but the guy was swamped and didn't seem wanting to assist us. So I went somewhere else and got it done for half the price.

I am unable to download the version of Microsoft office to the laptop I was sold because of the incompatibility of the operating systems. I believe this fact should have been addressed at the time of purchase since I bought both during the same phone call. The advice I was given by the geek squad was to go to the Microsoft site, and use another individuals email account. I think this would be a possible instance of fraud. I asked Microsoft one hour ago, no answer yet.
