It is easy to get a hold of someone to help. Easy drop off and quick service.

this will come in handy, since out older HP seems to have really slowed down

Not sure the $100.00/yr fee is worth it. Not sure I would sign up for geek support again and I am not thrilled with new laptop.

I like the internet security that the geek squad recommended for my computer

The salesman convinced me to buy Geek Squad Tech Support membership with the promise of rapid response to any issues I might have with the new laptop. I agreed and bought the computer and the membership. The salesman said that as part of the service they would "set up" my computer for me and it would be ready to pick up in about 2 or 3 hours. I came back 7 hours later and it wasn't ready. The Geek Squad girl seemed total unconcerned and said it would be ready "first thing" in the morning. I returned late the next morning and a different girl couldn't tell me anything about my computer. I insisted on talking to the store manager who said the salesman should have NEVER told me 2 or 3 hours. He said that they are very busy and can't ever know in advance how long service will take. He had a could care less attitude. I doubt Best Buy will be in business much longer when this is the way they treat the CUSTOMERS who's money makes their paychecks.

Always helpful. Patient to those that are not that familiar with computers.

So far they have been great! No question too stupid to ask. Always helpful.
