Mostly really good, virus protection with tech support not so great. they always try really hard to solve my problems or send me to someone who can.

Geek Squad helped set up our machine and then worked with us through some issues with trying to install the Office Suite for Students. We also can receive tech support for up to two older or other machines. I really appreciate this feature as I have a dated machine and my wife uses a brand new machine.

I can't say enough good things about the online 24/7 support. On three instances now I've used it. The last time I was online for iver two hours until the representative was able to fix the issue. It was time consuming but he didn't give up until it was resolved. Great service and worth the money!

Whenever I purchase an electronics item from Best Buy, I intend to purchase the Geek Squad coverage. It's a no-brainer. Keeps those electronics in good working order.

Geek Squad fixed two computers, one which wouldn't up and then had to be disinfected . They did an excellent job on both with good communication regarding the problems found and status of repair.. They also fixed my wife's computer a few times remotely. Excellent service, well worth the money.

I have had Geek Squad coverage for several years and highly recommend it. Love that I don't always have to take my electronics in to the store because there is on line and phone help. Fast, efficient service from pleasant employees.

I was having trouble with both my desktop and laptop pcs. Since I purchased the contract with Geek squad and had both in to have them worked on, both pcs are running great with no problems. The contract is one of the best buys I have made. Any problems, I just take it to Geek squad and they fix it.

This is good for the accidental coverage, if it breaks they fix or replace it. But it's not very good with software issues with Macs. They refer you to go to Apple.

I'm fairly technical compared to most but this is the best $200 I've ever spent at Best Buy Just getting a virus off your system can take HOURS, but they remotely do it for you with this plan (in no time at all!). They're courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. The website is also terrific.

I purchased a laptop at the same time I purchased a year of Geek Squad support. It is worth every penny. I had to turn to the Geek Squad on several occasions. They always solved my issue. Which ranged from having my mother board replaced to removing unwanted updates.

My wife accidently opened an email which contained a virus. We took our computer to Geek Squad, as we were worried about identity theft and the possiblities of some personal files being stolen. They went over the computer and found several viruses. They were able to tell us that our personal files were not accessed, which was a relief to us. They wiped the computer clean and suggested and installed a much better virus protection program. They helped us changed several settings, passwords, etc. to help ensure our computer was safe. They were very professional and patient with us, as we are not very tech savey. They were able to explain things in layman terms and they didn't treat us like we were "stupid" for not knowing much about computers. The agents at the Best Buy in Gainsville, Va store are great. The only thing is that they had to keep the computer about a week due to heavy volume of customers in the store. They did their best to "rush" it for us, but he said they needed time to run all scans and checks. they provided a complete explaination of what they had looked for and found on our computer. In the end, we were very happy with them.

I was always iffy on getting these protection plans but I had one for my laptop so I took it into Geek Squad for repairs & they were honestly great! They took care of the laptop quickly & it now runs better than ever. Always getting Geek Squad protection on all my electronics from now on.

Bought with computer for my college student. Never used it. We should at least have used it to replace the battery, but we let it expire

I'm very big on customer service and the guys at Geek Squad are great. They're nice and do a great job of talking to me, not at me, in terms of the tech stuff. They cleaned up a HP laptop for me and it runs great now! I'll definetly be coming back to them with any future devices.

I'm not the brightest, and definitely have blonde moments way more than I should. I have recently purchased a new MacBook Pro and had some rather silly questions. With Geek Squad Tech Support, I know help is only a phone call away 24/7/365. No question too small or too easy!

You never know when your equipment is going to fail. Calling tech support to help you out is a must. So much quicker than looking up the answer and spending time trying to figure out something they know in an instant.

Bought for my son computer. Did not activated yet, but I think it is great idea to have a help, which is 24/7 to be protected for expensive computer.

Purchased it for the convenience of it. Fortunately have not had to use it yet. However, I had purchased the product for my daughter's smartphone 4 years ago. Thank goodness I did. Long story short when she had a problem with her iPhone, they had it replaced within 3 days.

Service has been good but there is a $50 charge for in home visits if you cannot connect to their website.
