I haven't yet used the tech support yet, but I've heard a lot of good things and the price is very fair for what you get. Never underestimate 24/7

Geek squad is a lot of help when your having problems with your electronics. I have not had any problems with them fixing any of our home computers.

Geek Squad set up programs on a new computer purchase. We had an appointment and they were timely and answered all questions to our satisfaction.

i can take my tablet or laptop to geek squad if i have any software problems as well as hard drive. Takes a little bit of time but is worth it.

I strongly believe that this is an excellent deal. My family had to a chance to fix almost every computer we had in the house, basically for free. If we had taken our computers anywhere else we would be charged well over the amount we paid for the 1-year membership.

I purchased this because I sometimes need help, and with this service I know that I will have that assistance when I need it (for 1 year anyways)

There is only one computer repair/service plan to choose from, and it is a decent upfront cost. At first, it doesn't seem worth it. But it does cover up to 3 computers - so if you (a) have to get the same computer repaired/serviced more than once in the year or (b) have other computers repaired/seviced in the year, then it is probably well worth the price. I have not had the chance to go back again with this or another computer. The technicians were very competent - they were able to remove the nasty virus (which McAfee phone tech support could not do). But it took too long to complete the job. The Geek Squad didn't seem too busy when I dropped off my computer and they even said it should only take about 3-4 days to fix. While not a guarantee, it seemed reasonable for the work that needed to be done. However, they took nearly one whole week - the max amount of time they allow themselves per the agreement you sign. The delay was largely due poor planning by the Geek Squad. They required some additional components from me, but did not inform me right away, thus losing a couple days. If I hadn't checked in a couple of times, the delay would have been even longer. so you need to keep tabs on them. They also had to seek assistance from corporate tech support because the virus was really bad (at least they had that option or they might not have been able to fix it).

techs were helpful and walked me through the services needed Will be using support on a regular basis

Geek Squad is awesome. They are there when you need them. They are professional and courteous in addition to being very knowledgeable. Anyone who has a computer needs support on occasion and you can get it from the GEEK SQUAD.

I am so happy I bought this service plan. Have used it 2x already. Worth the money and I feel secure letting the Geek Squad into my computer.

took 3 laptops to geek squad for clean up and virus protection very happy with the results they said about a week for the computers to be ready 2 were done in two days the other was sent off for repairs and was back in 4 days all the computers are running great!!

Great value for your money. Geek squad support option was one of the reasons that I decided to go with Best Buy when buying my new laptop.

One of the reasons why I bought my laptop at Best Buy was so I could have the Geek Squad subscription. And being able to have up to 3 laptops/tablets is just a joy. I've always had great experiences with the Geek Squad. They are very reliable and very knowledgeable

Hey, not only are they smart, but they're fast and REALLY friendly. My daughter had questions, and they helped her out without a second thought. I got her the two year plan (she's going off to college) and I know they'll take care of her so I don't have to :)

Although I no longer have full coverage on my computer. I still feel somewhat protected. Good service and geek squad is really helpful.

Really a must have for college student taking a lap top to school. Verify that there is a Best Buy, near the college campus. Only downside is that a loaner is not readily available (must purchase) while lap top is sent off for repair.

If you are truly not tech wise then get this...it reduces the stress of trying figure things out by your self..

I went into repair my laptop which was infected with virus, geeksquad repair my laptop without issues and I am happy with their service.

To date, Best Buy tech support has been great in getting my old desktop cleaned, repaired & restored and w/ helping set up my new laptop
