Priced to allow consumers to get a couple of these smart plugs and very cool. Best of all is how simple it is to use. Starting from the time I opened the box and actually read the instructions, I had the smart plug operating in under ten minutes. I can see people using this for lamps the most. It works with other smart devices such as Alexa, Cortana, and Google Assistant. I don't have one of the smart light bulbs, but the instructions say you can change the color of the bulb from the Geeni app. It probably will not matter to most people, but just wanted to note that it can only run off the 2.4 GHz wi-fi frequency. There was one time I unplugged the device and moved it to a different location. When I plugged the device in a different outlet and attempted to turn on a lamp, the app kept telling me the wi-fi signal wasn't strong enough. I ended up having to remove the smart plug device from the app and add it back. A little annoying but I don't anticipate people moving the plug around very often.

The Geeni provides smart plug features over wi-fi and is entirely compatible with Alexa/Google. Set up is simple--create account, name device, turn on/off. If you have Alexa/Google you then link it to your Alexa/Google accounts. You can also download app on android/IOS for remote control by phone. Any electrical device can be controlled, but I use only for lighting and computer printer. I have four Geenis and they all work well with no problems. If you want a low-priced smart plug that works well, get this one. It is a Chinese product, but provides very good help/support.

I purchased this smart outlet to control a power strip that some of my little-used entertainment center devices plug into (network switch used to connect TV and dvd player to web for firmware updates and to stream NETFLIX). Also plugged into this device are a pair of security cameras that are used only when I leave home. The Geeni smartplug is configured for voice control via Google Home Assistant. Setup was straightforward. Since I already have linked several 3rd party accounts to Google Home Assistant, that part of setup for the Geeni smart plug went very smoothly. Everything worked on the first try. Now I am saving electricity by running some devices only when needed. That was the original motivation for buying the Genni smart outlet. Happy with my purchase. Purchase online from Best Buy, and shipping was free. Amazed that shipping was free, considering how little I paid for this. Most stores, even on ebay, still require a minimum purchase of at least $25 to get free shipping.

This was my first smart plug and I wanted to use this for a light that's difficult to reach to shut off. Set up was easy, smooth, and worked well for my light. I plan on using this to replace my timer when I go out of town as well. I purchased this on sale and made it the perfect price for this. Note: I did try to plug in my dehumidifier and although it would click on both units, it never successfully turned it on. I think the power required is just too much for this little Geenie.

I have two of these plugs. They are easy to set up and I like that they are integrated into the Google Home App now so I can speak to my Google Assistant to turn on the lights in my dark basement without fumbling around in the dark for a switch.

I bought this for my MIL to go with her Alexa we got her for Christmas. It works perfectly and she has her lamp plugged into it so she can control it through Alexa. Works great when she walks into a dark room and can't see, so she can turn it on with voice commands. She also has a timer set up on it for the lamp to come on and off at certain times. Love this and how convenient it is for her.

I have had this plug for about a month now and I Love it. I was very simple to get set up and it works just as is says. I have the app loaded on my phone and it is very easy to navigate. I use the timer setting to turn my lamp out an hour after I go to bed. I also set a time to turn my lamp on in the morning when it's time to get up in the morning.

This product works as expected. I tested it with Google home. It turns on the AC that I have connected every time I ask it to. Please do see the specifications of the appliance you are planning to connect this to. Awesome product. Keep the good work up Geeni.

I bought this smart plug to turn on and off my fan. It is easy to set up and has a timer and schedule feature which allows me to turn on and off when I go to work. Now when I'm a rush I never have to worry about forgetting to turn off the fan.

Love this plugin. Easy to set up with the Geeni App (download from your App Store) then can set up to work with google for voice control. Now I just tell google to turn my Christmas tree on and off! Convenient and fun!

These are pretty good. I have been using them for over a year and haven't encountered any issues. Except for it not responding a couple of times but easily fixable with reconnection. Also, easy to control it with Alexa.

I needed a smart plug for my not so smart Lava Lamp. It was easy to install, and it works well with myGoogle and Philips devices. It also fits easily on my power strip. The price was good, too.

Works well with our kettle and has a smaller footprint, lower price and better connectivity than my Wemos.

Got this smart product setup using my Android device with Google Home. Setup was fairly easy and probably the time consuming part was setting up a new account through Geeni. Only hiccup the device had was during its automatic upgrade during setup. If you have issues with the automatic upgrade progress circle bar not working, I recommend making sure your close to the device and near a strong source of WIFI (The upgrade needs stronger WIFI but after that the on/off feature works on a weaker WIFI signal if you move the device somewhere else). This isn't the fault of Geeni as WIFI signal strength comes from my router.

This is the 5th Geeni smart plug we've purchased and we love them. Easily turns most of your general plug-in electronics into smart devices. You can use either the Geeni application or another smart assistant, such as Google Assistant/Home, to control your device's power. Would highly recommend getting a few of these for TV's, lamps, holiday lighting, etc.

Works just like it is supposed to! Easy to setup, app works nicely, integrations with Google Home was easy. Very pleased with this item.

I have older Geeni outlets that are now discontinued. Compared to those, this new model is smaller. The old model took two receptacles whereas this only covers one. That is good. However this model does not track energy usage. I assumed it did so I was very disappointed when I got them connected and found no power useage info. Because the app was already set up on my phone for my older models, connecting these was extremely simple and took literally about 30 seconds. All in all, a fine product but not as useful without energy statistics.

Love this. Super easy to set up and use. Like that it is smaller then most smart plugs.

I bought 3 plugs and I can control my lights very well with this item and my Alexa echo. Easy to setup and use. My only issue is that it makes a buzzing noise while on.

Easy to install, works great with Google Home Hub. The app is very user friendly. would recommend 100%
