Convenient double plug

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed to control two items on the same receptacle, so rather than buy two of the single smartplugs and use both plugs in the receptacle, I used one of these and still have the other plug open! What is really cool is that I can program each of the two plugs independently in the Geeni app. For example, with my aquarium I have my light programmed to turn on and off at a couple times during the day, while my aquarium's UV filter is plugged into the other plug on this smart plug and is programmed to turn on and off at another time of the day. With Alexa I can ask it to turn on just the light, or just the UV filter, or both together. I can do this from the Geeni app too, but using voice to do this makes it that much better!

Excellent smart plug!

I have been using it every day and its been working great. I was easily able to pair this with my google home mini. App is also great as it allows you to schedule timers and it also lets you control the plug even if you are not connected to the same wifi!

I bought this plug because it can convert my ONE outlet into TWO outlets, all while making them smart! The other standard outlet on the top/bottom is also still available to use!

I found the set up to be too problematic and time consuming so I decided to return them and stick with the two brands mentioned that work well together.
