If not, we recommend placing the antenna near a window or place it has high as possible to maximize your reception. The antenna reception range is based on a line of sight signal path from the TV broadcast towers to your home. You can use a website like www.tvfool.com to determine the direction and distance of where the signals are coming from. Position the antenna where it is facing towards the signal path or towards the tower for optimal performance. Please make sure the run a channel scan every time you reposition the antenna.

The antenna is very flimsy, one of the antennas broke off. The scan only had mostly Spanish channels and the American ones kept on pixeling. Don't bother with this cheap one wast a bit more money on the flat panel antennas with a booster if you wanna cut the cord.

You can use www.antennaweb.org to look for the DTV reception maps to determine the available stations and location of the broadcast towers in your area.
