    Not a bad deal

I needed to hang my guitar on my wall so I bought this one. The first problem I ran into was the cheap anchors this came with. I like the design. It doesnt stick straight out, it is at a 25 degree angle and it has a self locking yoke. I like those 2 features. This should have come with better anchors. My Jackson looks good hanging on my wall. If you decide to buy this, go to a hardware store and buy some decent anchors.

DO NOT buy this for Fender Guitars or similar head

DO NOT buy this for Fender Guitars or similar head stock guitars. Seriously, my Telecaster fell right through after complete correct installation, We have all sorts of hangers and I thought I'd try this one for my Tele and Strat. This hanger assumes a large traditional acoustic or gretsch type head, it is way too wide for a Strat or Tele or any axe with that type of headstock, they slowly slip and go sideways, then right through (lucky I was watching and caught it). We tried both a strat and a tele and it did the same with both unless you very carefully pull the guitar as far forward into the hanger as possible, position it very perpendicular and carefully let it go without nudging it even a breath... even then I don't trust it, walls move a little, floors bounce when you walk past and all it needs to do is start the movement and it slides sideways and eventually out.
