From the moment I saw the wrap-around group picture on the box I knew I had to have it. Didn't know a thing about it but once I watched my first episode, I WAS HOOKED! Each character is different but they all come together on some sort of common ground. Each anime character is pretty well-developed but there is still some questions at the end of the anime (which is all the more reason to purchase the manga as well). On top of all the crazy-goodness in the Genshiken episodes, you also get to watch Kujibiki Unbalance which is the anime that the Genshiken characters watch in the series. This is one of my favorite anime and I would recommend it to anyone and everyone!

If you ever wonder what is "otaku" then you need to watch this. Different perspectives is explained in the anime, from an otaku's point of view to a non-otaku's point of view. It's a bit short but it's definitely worth your time. It might be a little bit dragging if you don't watch anime since this anime is about anime.
