Makes no noise which is perfect is you have a baby at home. Also love the style of this item and size very stylish.

Has immediately made a difference in terms of odor, allergy flare ups, and while it can make a bit of noise in the higher settings, the first two speed settings are relatively silent and I can easily enjoy TV while sitting beside this machine. I reccomend turning it on in your absence so that you can come home to a fresher smelling room.

I use this in my bedroom and am able to sleep with it on the lowest setting with no problem. Im waking up in the morning without the uncomfortable situation in my throught and nose like I was having prior. I have dark furniture in my room, which collects dust quickly, and I can definalty see that there is less dust on the furniture as well.

Easy to set up and use. I have multiple of these purifiers set up in my house and does a great job in the living room and bedroom.

While trying to rid my bedroom from cat dander I came across this air purifier and couldn't be happier. I can definitely tell a difference when placing this in a mid sized room. I wake up feeling less stuffy and don't feel like I'm breathing in cat dander anymore. Great product, worth every penny. And it also replaces my fan, as I used to need a fan to help sleep because of sound. This purifier acts as a fan with having a similar sound, that isn't too loud. If you are looking to help improve you air quality, definitely invest in this product!!

Purchased this air purifier mid March and have used on a daily basis ever since newborn baby boy came home. Level 1 of 3 is very quiet and tolerable. Wake up with a clear nose which would be congested daily prior to buying this purifier. Perfect for our 12x15ft bedroom. Highly recommend!

I noticed a change in the air within the first 24 hours and I didn't think air fliters really made that big of an impact but this one does the trick very well, we have 2 dogs, 3 ferrets, and 5 adults in the house and we put the filter in our living room (average sized living space) and I couldn't be happier.

Air circulates in my building and I was getting smoke in my condo. I could smell it and I would wake up congested. So I bought two of these air purifiers, one for my bedroom and one for the living room. No more congestion in the morning! Also don't smell smoke. Great product, good price.

Got this purifier for my allergies and it seemed to clear up after using this air purifier. Quiet w/ optional UV lamp usage.

We have neighbors that smoke cigarettes and the smoke filters into our downstairs apt. We have had it constantly running and can tell a 100% deiffernce in the air quality. I sleep better at night, I’m not congested and the smell of smoke is gone. If you are looking for a good air purifier that won’t break your pocket book, give this one a try. You won’t be disappointed!!!!

You notice a difference in the air quality very quickly, yet the unit operates quietly.

Runs quiet on low. Not louder than any other fan on any speed. Got rid of musty odors almost immediately.

Let's be honest: if you are the type to read lots of reviews about air purifiers, you probably have realized it comes down to GermGuardian and Honeywell. There are other cheaper options from Holmes or Hampton Beach, as well as ridiculously expensive options from Dyson, but if you are serious about wanting to clean up your air, you're going to go back to those two. The GermGuardian AC4825 covers smaller rooms than the larger Honeywell options, but is perfectly capable, and has a UV light/TiO2 germ-killing feature not available on the comparable Honeywell (HPA200). You probably cannot go wrong with either, but this one will do the job effectively and elegantly. If you need something for a more open floorplan, or something for a room bigger than a bedroom, you might want to consider the HPA300.

It’s really Quiet and works really well it helps my allergies a whole lot I got it for my bedroom

My wife has terrible allergies, in conjunction with gas forced hot air heat makes for lots of dust and sneezing. This unit works wonders. Well packaged, with everything needed to use out of the box. I purchased in conjunction with an electronic humidifier and the results are excellent. No dust residue , quiet operation, silent on lowest setting but noticeable on medium to high. If you need white noise to sleep it will be better than leaving the TV on. Recommends to clean filters monthly, I had to vacuum off pre filter after first few days but has been good to go since. UV filter emits blue light but no additional sound to disturb. Performing as described, exceeding my expectations. Highly recommend GermGuardian Air Purifier and Best Buy.
