I put the setting on high and the fan rattled, so I figured it was broken but I had hoped that it wasn't. I checked the square footage of the room, 175sqft, I kept the door closed, and let it run for 43 hours. And there was no noticeable difference. I liked the size of the unit and I really wanted it to work but it was not meant to be. I returned it to the store, but they didn't have a replacement so I bought the Honeywell AirGenius 3 and will write a review for that later, but in the 2 hours that it has been plugged in, there has been a noticeable difference in air quality in a room almost twice the size of the 175sqft room.

One of the main reasons I purchased this particular air purifier is because I moved in with a smoker. So I needed something that would combat the smell of smoke, and not break the bank. This unit is small, smaller than I figured it would be based on the pictures, and that had my a little concerned after spending the money and bringing it home. However my concerns were put to rest quickly. This has an excellent filtration system, and it does not ionize the air (which is quite bad for smokers environments, it makes the smoke stick to the walls easier). It even helps kill more germs with a UV light inside the unit. I have this unit in the main living area, which is smoked in frequently. It keeps the room bearable while someone is smoking, and most importantly within minutes afterwards it's like no one ever lit up that cigarette at all. I'm sure a larger, more expensive unit will do even better, but for the small size and the relative small pricetag, this is an excellent air purifier. I'm debating buying another one now so I don't most this one around the house with me! It moves alot of air for such a small unit, and the faint hum that comes from it on high doesn't bother me at all, even at night trying to sleep.

This is a great purifier. When i got it i thought it would be a little bigger. works great. After a couple of hours i noticed i wasnt soo stuffed up in my nose anymore got rid of all the allergins or mold spores. and my room didnt stick anymore. I love the fact that its a 3 in 1. the filter only needs to be replaced every six months. I highly recommend to anyone with a small room

Works good for my bedroom where the cat also sleeps. Very easy to clean and use.

I bought one and it died in less than a year. Thankfully I had purchased the 2 yr replacement wty. I returned it and ordered a new one and it lasted about 7 months. I only ran it at night in my sons bedroom. Can not recommend this product.
