I suffer from Asthma and also have a couple cats so during winter months when the windows are closed and fresh air doesn't come in, I decided to purchase this item recently. It has helped so much with air quality in my home. Its easy to use, 5 fan speeds that are not loud at all, an off timer if you want to use it, and the UV light kills germs that cant be seen. Things are smelling fresh, and breathing easier now. If you are looking for a House hepa filter, spend the money on this one, it works great and takes out odors as well.

I have this in a 4-bedroom house master bedroom. When it's not occupied, I leave it running on high (with UV-C on in case there's plague going around). I'm not positive it works that way (correct me if I'm wrong), but I have slightly higher peace of mind with it on... At night, I turn it to low (and UV-C OFF because those blue lights are -bright-) while we're sleeping. For what it's worth, I also leave the manual covering the top of the display while we're sleeping because it'll light up your ceiling nicely after your eyes have adjusted. So far, it seems to be keeping the dust down. Something I've noted (and this is important to me and my weird, sensitive nose) is that it is excellent at keeping odors out of the room (I do try and leave the door closed during the day while it's on high to help it turn over just the room's air). I haven't had to replace the one-piece filter yet so I don't know if that's a process. I plan to try cleaning it myself when the display indicator comes on, first. The war against dust is long and arduous. And tedious. This has helped and makes sure cooking, etc. smells don't set on our clothes and such.

Got this recently, ordered two on daily deals. I got one for my mom and I. We have had it on almost all day everyday since. At my moms place I set it up close to a portable ac unit blasting right behind it in her living room. 5 feet behind and 2 feet taller than the air filter to be exact. Mom likes to keep windows closed so when she cooks usually the house smells like food. I love food and the smell don’t get me wrong but, I don’t like the way the smell of food gets on our clothes. With the filter that is no longer the case. It’s too quite when on....even though I see it on with the uv light glow I still walk up to it and feel the air flow. It’s on point. On high the fan is barely noticeable. On low not at all. Went with the white option and glad I did because it matches the ac unit. We both notice cleaner air and don’t wake up with stuffy nose or any type of allergies since. Love the Hepa filter and the design of the unit as well. I like the fact, I didn’t have to add an app or Bluetooth. No need to connect with app just touch/press and go. simple just like me. I have enough electronics on my Bluetooth and enough apps thank you. “4 in 1 captures allergens, fights germs, reduces odors, maximizes airflow and doctors recommend Hepa air filtration systems” so WIN WIN! I have had smaller germgaurdian units that plug in to the wall and do a similar job but for a much smaller space. I added a picture of the ones I have had prior to this tower of pizza! Combined with this unit cleaner air all around. I would recommend to all. I’m getting hungry, I want some pizza. Enjoy.

What a difference this product has made in our lives! My husband snores excessively and we thought an air cleaner might help. After doing a lot of research (HEPA and CADR ratings) and not knowing whether such a unit would help, we settled on the GermGuardian 4 in 1. We didn't want to spend $800 but wanted something more than a $25 unit that would give us a chance of figuring out if this would help. It has five speed settings and a washable filter. So we will not be spending high prices for replacement filters on a regular basis. We run it 24/7 on varying speeds and I'm happy to say my husband's snoring has dropped tremendously. Great product for the value. Highly recommend!

Simple and sleek in appearance, easy to use. Quiet on lower settings. After searching for over a year and the combination of appearance/price/performance value I found.

I love it! It removes flying dust particles from a nice sized room. Even on it's highest setting (5) it's not loud.

I bought the Germ Guardian after I was tired of waking up every morning congested and feeling like I didnt sleep at all. I even had all my carpets shampooed and change my ACs filter before I bought the Germ Guardian. It didnt work, so I decided to take the plunge on a HEPA Air Purifier. It was a quick setup and plug in to get started. I turned it on and left my apartment for a few hours to see if i noticed a difference when i returned. Boy did I ever. Maybe it was my imagination but the air felt lighter to me. I kept it in the livingroom area that night and fell asleep on my couch. Best night sleep Ive had in a very long time. Right now it filters for living room and kitchen area which is a large space. The bedroom will be getting a separate air purifier soon. For now I put it in the bedroom about an hour or two before bed and it seems to get everything cleared out well. I leave it on a low setting as I sleep. The fan is a little loud at the highest setting but it doesnt bother me in normal day activities around the house. At about a 3 you loose most of the sound which is perfect to sleep to. Overall this is a great product and does what it says it will do.

On the highest setting (5) it's great white noise; on the second highest setting it's reasonably quiet, and gets almost totally silent as you go from level 4 down to level 1. I have it in my small-sh bedroom mostly, and try to run it before I go to sleep in the evening and sometimes on low throughout the night. I've noticed an improvement in my breathing during morning meditation and feel like it's doing a good job. I don't use the UV setting much because I guess I'm not sure how effective that is. It removes any litter box odor from my apartment and doesn't take up a lot of space. I'd buy this again.

My parents have three cats and one of them has decided to revolt from using the litterbox. We haven't figured out the culprit yet since they each seem to take turns sitting with pride, as they watch us clean it up. Despite our efforts, it has seeped through the flooring and the smell has infiltrated the air in entire house. Since these freeloaders, I mean cats, won't get a job and pay to replace the floors, we needed to come up with a short term solution until we can. In comes the GermGuardian.. and we are impressed. I ended up buying three different air purifiers, one wall plug-in, and another stand up one (like this one) because it was 50% off through the Deal of the Day. I wish I would've just stuck with this one though, it is definitely my favorite. We keep this one in my parents bedroom and the air is fresh and clean. It has different speed settings and 'low' is perfect for sleeping -- you can barely hear it and what you do hear reminds me of that pleasant white noise sound. I haven't used the timer features because we just leave it running all the time. I'm not sure if you're supposed to do that but we've had it for about a month now and it is still working like a charm. I particularly like that there are two filters and they can be cleaned. Now, not only do the cats seem to like the smell of their own urine but apparently they also think that their fur will be worth money some day since they seem to be storing it in all the nooks and crannies of the house... Not to mention the tumblehair that would roll through . Alas, the cats must be disappointed because the amount of fur has diminished significantly.. and all the claims about having less dust? They're true! I am amazed by how much less dusting I have to do.. I also like the design of this one better. You need to put it at least 12" from the wall so this one fits nicely into a corner. The other Sony I have is shorter and wider so it doesn't blend in as well. (As much as I'm a new believer in these things, I don't feel the need to make it the show piece of any room).

The machine is very slick and futuristic looking. It compliments my place while providing clean air. I have in it my office space and it keep it very clean and dust free. It took about a month before I could see real results, but it works very well. And it's super quiet

Slick design, not as big as other similar products. It is a little noisier than I had expected when working at max, so I don't usually use it on max, still it gets very good results. I am waiting for the next sale to buy a second one!

Almos immediately upon starting to use this unit, my wife felt better. It filters allergens extremely well, and the highest speed (5) does, as it claims, clear the air quickly in our approx. 140-sq.-ft. bedroom. My allergies are not very severe, but I noticed a difference as well. We sleep with the unit set on 4, and on 3 or less it's so quiet that it is totally unobtrusive when watching TV or listening to music. I can't verify the efficacy of the UV light but I suspect it does have some germicidal effect; when I had a cold, we used it and my wife didn't catch the cold. This purifier definitely has a positive effect on our comfort.

We were looking for an air purifier for our one bedroom apartment and are very happy we chose this product. It is lightweight, modern looking and quite. We have had the product for approximately 3 weeks and already notice a difference in the amount of dust in the apartment.

I cannot honestly say if there is a better air purifier on the market. Cause this one seriously has worked wonders. We originally purchased a small plug in one for our bathroom after seeing the dramatic air quality difference at my parents home. Even the small one for the bathroom helps a ton. So once this model came in (they are super hard to get) after waiting seriously over a month for it, we use it every single day in our bedroom. The air temperature and quality are much improved. Its real quiet as well.

My husband and I bought this air purifier to help with the occasional smoker outside of our apartment building as well as to help with his allergies. We have a smaller air purifier from this same company that we have been happy with so we sticked with it when choosing a larger one for our living room. I love that the purifier is super quite when on level 3 or lower which is plenty for everyday use. On the occasion that we need a little bit more power and air filtration, like in the case of someone outside our 3rd story balcony smoking, we bump it up to 5 and let it do it's job. It should be mentioned that level 5 is going to make a bit of sound but it's a background noise sort sound and I don't think that it is necessary to leave it at this level at all times. Vary happy with this air purifier and the brand Germ Guardian. We will continue to come back to this brand in the future.

This product works wonders! I have dogs and hardwood floors so dust, pet hair and such accumulate quickly. This improves the quality of my room and also helps with allergies immensely. Soothing sound from the purifier and love that it is adjustable.

Great air purifier. I have definitely noticed an improvement in air quality in my home since using this. It is amazingly quiet on anything but the highest setting (5). I have a couple of cats and various allergies, so am used to waking up stuffy every morning. This contraption has left me feeling much less stuffy and much more refreshed after a good night's sleep. Happy to be breathing a little easier every day. This company also has a convenient automatic re-order program for the filters.

The Germguardian Air Cleaning System has a combination HEPA filter that captures allergens and charcoal filter to remove odors. The UV light technology helps to kill germs. The first time I used it I slept better and did not wake up feeling stuffy. I also have a cat litter box in the house and it really helped with dust and odor. The house just feels and smells cleaner when I use this product. I would highly recommend this product. It really works.

Okay, so I got this device in hopes to eliminate/significantly reduce dust. It's fantastic in eliminating odors, such as from cooking or pets. However when it comes to dust, I don't really see a difference at. But I do notice a significant difference in air quality which is why I kept it. I use it often. DEFINITELY READ ITS RECOMMENDED SPACE FILTRATION. The size of the room it's in obviously makes a difference in performance outcome. It's kinda loud when on the 5 speed which is the highest but it isn't terrible. Like a average stand-up fan loudness. If you out it on 3 speed, it's essentially silent depending on if you have a TV on or something. I knocked it over on accident the other day and there was no suffer in performance so it seems like it can take a couple knock overs. Over all I'd give it a 7.5/10 due to not seeing a difference in dust.

We have a dog and I was noticing that dog odor when you walk in. I had my doubts that this would really make any difference but man was I surprised. Within 24 hours the odor was completely gone. The unit also runs very quite at speed 3 and even at speed 4 it is not that bad. Speed 5 I only use when not at home.
