Definitely helps with odors. Not sure if it kills bacteria and viruses as there is no way to test for it. It is quiet and looks good on our countertop.

My new air cleaner is quiet, works well and leaves my room smelling clean. It definitely helps with keeping down feather dust from my parrots. I reccomend it for small to medium sized rooms. 8x10 14x14 , but not large rooms.

Rooms smell great.would like to purchase another one.

I was skeptical at the size of this, but it still did do the job. Nice small footprint that doesn't get in the way. The design is noce and modern.

While I can't really tell if it's working, it sits nicely on our tv stand and quietly whirs away. Both my boyfriend and I have started to sneeze less, which is great, but this could also be due to the end of the spring season. Regardless, it was on a mega sale and I don't regret the purchase.

This Germ guardian has made a great difference in our air quality! You see, we have 3 dogs in our house and it has helped out greatly. I am going to buy one for upstairs also. Even if we did not have dogs I would have one or 3 in my house. Great product Best Buy!

Bought it because i have very bad allergies and asthma combined. From when i plugged it in maybe a few minutes after you notice the difference.

This is my latest addition to my SMART and Connected Home! From the quiet operator on to it's effective cleansing w/ visual aids telling me when it's cleaning. And finally, this is on my network and part of my home's high IQ connection.

I bought this because it is harder than ever to avoid bringing germs from work to home, or the close proximity to colleagues in the office. Not sure if it is as effective as it sounds but it can only help.

So I find it really hard to review air purifiers because unfortunately I think it is based on your interpretation of it's effectiveness. I can say that it makes a little noise nothing too distracting. In the beginning it had a subtle odor so I'd say if you do purchase it to let it run in a room separate from where you'd like it to be just to let it operate for a bit until that's gone. It doesn't require a filter which is a huge plus. We really struggle with sickness in my house during the winter and since I put it in it seems to have reduced it but like I said that could because my kids aren't getting sick or because it's working kind of hard to say. So in closing if you believe that these things work I think it's a fine product and if not then I don't think any of these reviews are going to convince you. Therefore I'm rating it average but I would definitely say it's worth a shot.

Works well, does what it is supposed to do. In general, Guardian Technologies air filters are a good price point to value.

Recently had an issue with moisture and smell in my basement. This cleared it up immediately. My basement smells fresh again!

It's not especially quiet but it works really well. I put it in my animal room with my cat's litter box, a Guinea pig, a gecko and multiple aquariums and there's very little smell.

I have it in a 320 sq.ft. back house & it doesn't seem to be making much of a difference on a musty smell I can't seem to get rid of. Maybe over time it will be more effective. It seems like there should be more power options than just on & off, like a low or high level.
