    I didn't buy this DVD for myself I bought it for a friend for his DVD collection. However, I did see the movie it was okay but not a five star or an Oscar winner.

    I'm a huge fan of Chad Boseman. And while his performance and portrayal as James Brown was good, the overall film was underwhelming.

    Movie was good and I learned some things about James Brown I didn't know. Without James Brown, there would be no rap/hip hip music.

    The movie gave the audience more information about James Brown than we will ever need. The dancing was good, but I think the movie was just ok.

    I enjoyed this film about James Brown life. I especially thought it fantastic that Chadwick Boseman sounds so much like Mr Brown! The movie kept the momentum going even when changing between flashbacks & present moments. A must see.
