This movie was very well written and directed. I am not a fan of the horror genre but this movie came so highly recommended that I had to check it out and it did not disappoint.

I purchased this movie from Best Buy, and the DVD and the digital card were both missing. I’m not sure if there is anything that can be done about it.

This movie is incredibly intelligent. On the surface, it has all the horror movie tropes in it. A incredibly well written for those that pay attention to the environment and small details hidden throughout scenes and dialogue. A must own.

We heard through the grapevine that this was something special. We actually found this on sale and I was ready to pass it up. My wife really really wanted it so we grabbed it no regrets. So when we finally popped it in I was completely engaged from start to finish. A refreshing plot that doesn't rely on old cliches nor does it have a monster in it. Not a supernatural Thriller but something that could actually happen which makes it that much more disturbing. Great acting great shots and all-around enjoyable. I truly had thought people had forgotten how to make an old school Hitchcock Style horror movie. If you're on the fence about this grab it you won't regret it.

Jordan Peele's first foray into the horror/terror/suspense drama movie genre was a successful one. At the beginning through the mid point, It's a slow hand story for all intents and purposes that gives the illusion of safety while knowing that something sinister is looming in the background. You don't quite know what it is but something diabolical is afoot and that unsettling fact make for good drama and suspense. Given the backdrop of the movie, some societal/political undertones may strike a chord with some. If you can brush that off and enjoy the ride, you'll get a good scare and a few laughs sprinkled in. Can't wait for Peele's "Us" coming soon. It surely looks like he won't hit a sophomore slump from the trailers.

This is probably Jordan Peele's best work. Everything after Get Out lacked something, but this was an excellent elevated horror movie and a great 4K release.

Writer and director Jordan Peele gave us a sinister horror thriller with one heck of a message. The horror is real in this latest release of the film. This copy is basically the same thing as the original, except with a new slipcase around it and a discounted price tag. If you don’t own this film already, then what are you waiting for! It’s time to own one of the greatest horror films ever made.

I bought this on a gamble not know much of anything about it, so didn't know quite what to expect when I put it in. What I got was a film that is paced a little slowly (but not TOO slowly) and builds and builds to a rather shocking conclusion while confronting and challenging racial stereotypes along the way. I didn't necessarily *love* it right away, but.... it stayed with me like only great films do and demanded a 2nd viewing. If you like drama/horror with a little comedy mixed in and aren't afraid to see racism and racial stereotypes turned upside down, this one's for you!

a good home video release of an excellent film, I would have been delighted for it to have had more extras than it does, but such is the nature of most modern releases

Jordan Peele has really impressed me with his take on horror. This being his first foray into the genre. All of his projects from this to Us to the new Twilight Zone bring a unique brand of psychological feel to it that not many today can replicate. He is definitely one of the new masters of horror. I can't wait to see what he has in store next.

I’ve always wanted to buy this movie. Finally saw it at the perfect price. I did have an issue with the digital copy. The code provided within the case wasn’t working. Came back invalid every time. So I emailed the movie studio. and They gladly provided me with a new code as long as I showed a copy of my receipt. Beside that, it’s an awesome buy.

Jordan Peele’s Get Out reminded me of an elongated Twilight Zone episode and that’s a breath of fresh air nowadays. The story was creative, has loads of twists and turns, was shot well, acted well and overall was very satisfying. There was just enough humor mixed in with the obvious horror elements to make this an all around solid movie. The 4k transfer is sharp as well. Worth the upgrade over the Blu-Ray only version if you have the 4k setup. Can’t wait to see Jordan’s next movie Us soon!

Now that Chris (Daniel Kaluuya, Sicario) and his girlfriend, Rose (Allison Williams, Girls), have reached the meet-the-parents milestone of dating, she invites him for a weekend getaway in her parent’s home upstate. At first, Chris reads the family’s overly accommodating behavior as nervous attempts to deal with their daughter’s interracial relationship, but as the weekend progresses, a series of increasingly disturbing discoveries lead him to a truth that he could have never imagined.

I got an email saying that the Ultraviolet digital copy program is shutting down, so all digital copies need to be redeemed before then and they'll transfer purchases over to a linked account after it's too late. Besides that, everything is working fantastically and I'm happy I got this done before then. Just another reason to buy a hard copy!
