If you are Civil War buff and have never seen this, you are in for a great treat. Painstaking detail, excellent actors.

Great film for history buff. I Got the DVD so the picture quality is not too great. The sound effect is not what I am used to having since I have a 5.1 surround sound system .

Movie based on Pulitzer Prize winning novel, "The Killer Angels" was very well casted and the setting was excellent. Characters were believable and yet heroic.

I learn a lot from this movie! It was historically correct even down to the color of hair, the of the person, and filmed at the actual historical locations!

I am not a Civil War buff. I bought it because I am a pratroit who believes deeply in "History Repeats Itself". Many parallels to the division in America today.

After reading books on the civil war, this is one of my favorite movies on the Getttysburg battle

Unbelievable the amount of human lives lost but the sacrifices made a difference in the out come of the war and events thereafter.
