Getting both videos for 7.99 was a very good deal. The Gettysburg video was based on the award winning novel "Killer Angles". I have read the novel and the video was very accurate. Gods and Generals was more the early years of the war and Confederate success with General Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson. Both videos are good if you have interest in the Civil War.

"Gettysburg" and "God and Generals" might be both a minimum of four hours in length each, but they provide a well balanced viewpoint of essential battles that occurred during the Civil War. The performances of the cast are outstanding and the costumes worn by the actors and actresses are historically accurate and authentic.

Long, epic movies and both are very good. Fact with a story line helps many to get the ideas of the timelines and even some of the thought processes though they are made more artistic for the movies purpose.

Gettysburg is a great movie for history buffs and anyone who wants to watch a real story. Gods & Generals was good too.

This is such a great value. Two great movies that belong together in one low cost set. For anyone interested in the Civil War or American history these films are a must-see.

enjoyed both movies. had to get them after a recent family reunion at Gettysburg. Had an excellent local guide who walked us thru the battle. The movies do justice to this great conflict.

I needed Gettysburg to complete the set, and ran across this DVD. I like having both the movies together in the same case. I am a history buff and love the movies.

What made this such a great movie (s) was the terrific cast and the fact that it was filmed on the actual locations of the battles. I highly recommend this to anyone interested in the Civil War.

Two great movies one good price! These movies are a bit long, but worthy of watching both movies. Great actors in each movie.
