Installation was smooth...so as long as preparation is done prior to installation. I used the Microsoft website for assistance.

I've used both Windows 8 and Windows 7 and I actually prefer Windows 7 because it is easier to navigate. For everyday use, you don't want to continually deal with difficulties in moving to different windows or programs, which is what has happened when I've used Windows 8. You won't be disappointed with purchasing Windows 7 for your everyday computer needs.

having to upgrade from windows Xp to windows 7 is better than windows 8.1.

Windows 7 is way less complicated, I also have windows 8 on my other computer and 7 is much easier to navigate!!

Upgraded from Vista Home Premium. Upgrading went smoothly, no problems, did not lose any data. A lot of updates after initial upgrade but all the time was worth it to move on from Vista and avoid Windows 8. Would recommend this to anyone that has a working knowledge of Windows PC environments....I am not an IT person.

Will give my PC a couple of more years with a supported operating system

I am very satisfied with the windows 7 that I purchased recently. It was easy to install and to use once in place. No problems at all with it.

It's Windows 7, the most popular OS today. Nothing much to add other than now my Mom has Windows 7 rather than Windows XP on her Shuttle PC.

windows 7 works fine but computer doesn't download without calling for service to do it for me. whether it's the program or the computer i don't know but at least i can get on

Everything went exactly as you would expect from a Windows installation.

Had to buy a new operating system due to a hard drive crash. Wasn't ready to go to 8, so got Windows 7 from best buy for the Geek Squad to put on my computer. Unfortunately, they nor I noticed it was for a 32 bit system. It didn't load all my graphics, and I had to take my computer back to Geek Guys. They corrected the error and got me the correct 64 bit version. Nice that they resolved my issues and their mistakes with no hassle at all. Way to go Geeks!

I was disappointed in the Geek Squad service. I was charged for a complete upgrade of my computer. When I got back to California I had to download several programs and I could no longer access my printer. The online Geek Squad had to completely re update my computer in order for my printer to be connected to my laptop. This took several hours as in more than 4.

The computer program update was easy to go from my last outdated version to this.

I like how easy it is to use the Windows 7 software.

I converted from Window XP to Windows 7. For the most part everything is running OK.

Good product for use on a mac when a partcular program runs only with windows.
