Patrick Swayze, as a ghost. Enough said. Not even the ghostbusters would do him any harm.

Classic movie excellent addition to my collection..

This is an excellent presentation of this classic movie. It’s not a masterpiece but it is beloved in 90s movies. It was actually the first movie I ever saw in a movie theater as an 8-year old. The “Paramount Presents” line celebrates their line with modestly improved packaging that’s slightly better than the original slipcover treatment and a clear Bluray case in favor of the traditional blue case. As stated, the celebration is concise with special features that give you just enough to make lovers of the film to appreciate the making and celebration of it including a brand new albeit short 6-minute feature looking back on the film in addition to previously released material including an interesting commentary track. Also note that owners of previous releases will find the omission of older bonuses. However, the brightest and most important is the excellent picture which is supposedly remastered from 4K. (Why not just release it in 4K as well? Oh well.). Anyway, the picture is great with the improved detail and color. Best presentation so far. At under $20, this is a great buy that doesn’t overwhelm you with features but instead focuses on the film.

This movie is an excellent and breath taking, the lines the moods the craze all in one package, I just love it

I love this movie because I love the fact that to people can love each other no matter where they are.

Demi Moore and Patrick Swayze are a couple madly in love with each other when Swayze is murdered - but just won't entirely go away. His ghost is hanging around, protecting Moore from some bad guys and trying to figure out a way to give someone the information needed to nail his killer. The movie veers between genres: horror, sci-fi, romance, mystery. And then, there's Whoopi Goldberg in another signature role (she won an Oscar for this one); she plays a medium who is shocked to find that she really IS gifted with second sight - and her confusion as she comes to grips with her newfound power is hilarious to watch as she works with Swayze to pass on the incriminating criminal information. It's a tear jerker, especially the scene in which ghost and Goldberg revisit Moore in a passionate, loving, romantic sayonara interlude set to the music of the Righteous brothers. Marvelous sentimental schmaltz that works perfectly in every way.

Great movie; 2 Academy Awards.....my wife still gets emotional when she watches it.

An old school romance film, with a unique story, and a good cast.

Diffidently a great movie for couples to watch together.

Had movie on VHS. Upgraded to DVD to keep up with the times.

If you’re interested in The Spirit World and the connection we have with our departed loved ones, you will love Ghost. Even though this move depicts a romantic love between a man and woman, I feel my mother’s presence with me whenever I watch it. And when I find life here on earth challenging, I watch it to remind me that my Spirit Family is always watching over me and sending me their love and support.

This movie is a classic romance with several dance sequences and has a good story line. It has many great actors to keep you interested in this fantasy style movie. All romantics will recognize "The Unchained Melody" music and other great music. Everyone that has a romantic bone in their body, needs this movie.

Besides Dirty Dancing, this is one of Patrick Swayze's best movies. It shows off his acting skills and humor in this love story with Demi Moore. This is the anniversary edition on blu-ray with extras. Highly recommend buying this classic!

Ghost is one of the best movies made. Patrick Swayze is a great actor in this movie and plays his part well. Also Demi Moore - have to say the same about her also. If you enjoy love stories - then you will enjoy this movie. This movie will make you happy, sad, laugh, cry. I totally recommend this movie to couples, females.

This movie was a no brainer, I had to purchase this on a Blue Ray for my mother to have as a gift! My father has passed away and the only way that brings my family closer is this movie! I know, I know it's a chick flic but the actors are great in this epic classic! Must buy it as a gift or for yourself!

Since my twenty-something daughter loves romantic movies, the reviews suggested Ghost would be a perfect gift for Christmas. A classic movie, even I will appreciate seeing it again after all these many years. And of course, Patrick Swayze is too good to miss.

Have you seen this movie???? Just buy it! It’s amazing! The packaging is scary-good, the video transfer is spiritual, and the soundtrack is otherworldly. You couldn’t ask for (Demi) more!
