Beautiful steelbook! And the 4k restoration is the best this movie has ever looked! If you were in doubt, toss that old Blu-ray and pick this up ASAP. You won’t regret it. The lines are very deep, sharp and well-defined and the colors look better than ever.

The 4K transfer is stunning and this is absolutely the definitive way to watch the original Ghost in the Shell. The cover art/box is also gorgeous, which helps. Whatever you do, do not watch the 2.0 version with the garbage CGI and unnecessary changes.

Last time I owned this movie it was on VHS tape. This is a way better format and will last many years. The movie is a classic and though the new hotness is the current live action version of this film, it cannot hold a candle to this movie. It is as poignant and powerful as it has always been and is eye candy to boot! Buy This Movie!

Ghost in the shell is a classic anime movie..4k version visual upgrade is worth it a night and day diffrence to previous versions. A must have for any anime fan and collectors of the classics

This steelbook yells Ghost in the Shell. The colors and having Major on the front looks amazing! The movie is a stunning look at what it means to be human. There's a reason why despite being an old movie that this steelbook exists today.

This was great. I didn’t realize there was an ultra HD, HD, and digital options to watch. Other than the digital, there’s great being-the-scenes pieces to enjoy about this iconic film. The case is gorgeous. Even non-anime fans have been admiring the steel book.

Seeing as this was a rare find and found it at a decent price instead of going to eBay. This was a great movie with a beautiful SteelBook and a beautiful restoration and resolution make this a must-buy. Get it where's it available

When I first saw this advertised, I thought it was the Scarlett J movie, but after viewing, I realized it was a different, equally exciting option in the Ghost in the Shell franchise.

I don't need to emphasize to true anime fans the quality of this video. For newbies to anime this series is one of a few that sets the bar for all anime. My opinion in the top 10 ever produced. Young children may need to be accompanied by an adult as it can get mildly violent. Other then that . Enjoy

I was not sure if buying and watching a classic Japanese anime movie would look much better in 4K. But I was so happy when I put it in my LG 4K blu ray player and watched it. Looks so much better, sharper, and colors in certain scene really pop and stand out.

An absolutely beautiful SteelBook for a classic film. If you love Anime, this is definitely one of those movies that you should put on your list. From start to finish this movie kept my attention. I'm planning on watching this a few more times this year.

Spectacular movie. You can see where 2000s Sci-Fi took a lot of ideas from this film. The 4K resolution looks great. Soundtrack is spectacular. The voice actors feel a little wooden but they are also playing cyborgs so that may have something to do with it.

While I haven't watched it in full, I compared this to the older blu ray release. The picture and color had been really cleaned up. Supposedly they changed the end credits song though, so if you already own an older version, you might want to keep it.

Finally! THE definitive presentation of Ghost in the Shell. None of the 2.0 version cgi stuff added, and the picture is FAR better than the 25th anniversary edition released a few years back. 4k looks sharp as can be and the HDR is subtly perfect.

What is there not to love!? Ghost in the Shell with a 4K remaster in a few new special features to boot, the only thing that would have put this to God tear would have been the original manga included with it but that might be asking if it match

There is absolutely no reason at all not to buy this for the price they're offering it if you're a fan of GITS or cyberpunk/anime. Honestly there isn't. This movie is legendary and this steelbook is gorgeous. Stop looking at reviews and grab it.

If you love cyberpunk themed stories with anime art... you fall in love with this story... yet even though this the best artwork yet for the packaging, the some are saying this is the worst for the 4k presentation because it does nothing to improve on it

i first saw Ghost in the Shell 20 plus years ago, an never forgot it. to see it come to 4k is a dream come true. in such an outstanding package as this beautiful steelbook unlike no other, i must say thank you Bestbuy and keep producing more like this.

From the beautiful steelbook artwork to the actual 4k quality of the movie, this is definitely a worthy upgrade. I was clearly able to experience and differentiate the quality improvements this 4K HDR edition offers over a regular blu ray copy.

Have had this movie on VHS, DVD, and had to upgrade to the blu-ray version. If you have never seen this movie, to say this is an anime classic is an understatement. Stop reading, go purchase this and join the many who have appreciated this animated classic. One watch and you will understand why this is a must watch...
