This fantastic anime finally gets a long overdue 4K treatment. Experience for the 1st time the images, colors and soundtrack to this classic or relive it and get bombarded by all of the imagery all over again. The steelbook is the cherry on top for collectors and fans.

This edition looks amazing, the steelbook quality is amazing as well. Having a classic with such a unique and expressive release is enthralling especially to have on display. My only issue with this pickup is all the copies that were in my area had a bit of broken plastic inside of the case and all of the discs were loose inside of the case. So after I bought it I opened it up just to put the disc back into place. Otherwise it was a worthwhile purchase.

the movie was beautiful, though it is pretty clear that the age of the movie doesn't work well with the 4k clarity. Images that are drawn in a messy manner tend to have an uncanny effect, moving between very clean 4k shots, and other shots that appear like zoomed in messy lines.

I love ghost in the shell, this is one of the best anime movies of all time The transfer looks better than the dvd or Blu ray but it could've been better. I'll take what I can get with anime. we're lucky to get physical releases of some of these films so grab it while you can.

Really cool case to be honest, the fact that it goes from one cover to another with the slip on is a cool feature that should be present in more hardcovers!

One of the first anime movie that got me into the genre of Japanese animation

I already had this movie in 4k but just had to purchase this when i saw the beautiful steelbook. As for the movie itself. You can never go wrong with a classic and Ghost in the Shell is as classic as it gets.

Saw online they had it in stock. To my childhood excitement I walked in-store to pick up off the shelf. Was happy to see in stock and got this in 4k to add to my collection.

Excellent quality. Love the fact the original version is also included on the disc. The multiple language choices are also nice to choose the experience you want each time you view the film.

I mean, you're buying a 4K physical version of Ghost in the Shell. One of the most iconic franchises in Anime. I don't need to tell you about the movie or review it. Just buy it if you're a fan.

The disc is good but it's an older animation. There's only so much they can do. The steelbook looks awesome though and has a great slip cover that changes the art.

Beautiful artwork on this steelbook. Ghost in the Shell was the first anime I ever watched and the animation is superb. I recommend watching of you're into sci-fi and animation in general

A classic anime film which I am now glad to have in my collection. Not to mention this includes a digital copy for those that travel light.

All around great film of course but this transfer was amazing! If you care and want better quality the 4k transfer of ghost in the shell is very much so worth it.

One of the best movies of all time and the philosophy is mind blowing especially in the current day and age we find ourselves versus when this movie was made almost 30 years ago

A good movie but the English subs are not what is heard in English. So it’s either best to watch in Japanese with subs or in English audio with no subs. Video quality and sound is excellent besides a strange black border across all sides and not just top and bottom. So also watch in dim light so they won’t be as noticeable amongst your tv/monitor. Don’t expect any big anniversary treatment here. Same movie just on blu-Ray. No steel case just your typical blue plastic. No digital copy either if you are wondering.

A fantastic release and is the 2nd steelbook I have of this, though this one actually has special features and the 4K transfer which is a plus and a case to protect the steelbook.

This is such a fantastic world. One of the most beautiful movies ever made, and in 4k is even more gorgeous!

Nice Best Buy clearance price! Very nice transfer to 4K format. Highly recommended for fans of this anime.
