The special effects were better in 3d. Good movie, but the 3d made it better.

I realize that for many hardcore fans of the anime series that this live movie presents some issues for them. However, I feel that as a stand alone movie it is quite good with good action sequences and atmosphere.

It is always hard to make an anime into a live action film. I think they did an ok job, but that is not to say that this was a very good movie. Not a bad movie but not one that i will be watching multiple times.
