When the action in this movie was going, the movie was great and fun. There wasnt enough of it though was the problem.

Not Cage's best movie but still pretty fun to watch. A good movie for the family.

I wish I could give this 0 stars. I went in hoping to be entertained by a fun comic book movie. I even bought and enjoy Daredevil, to give you an idea of where my standards for comic book movies lie. This movie was horrendous. Nick Cage is in true form with his patented "Dear Lord I'm a terrible actor and I don't know why they continue to allow me in movies" performance. For a supposedly big-budget comic book movie, the special effects were less than stellar. Think pre-Terminator 2 graphics. The fight scenes, which should have been awesome (demon-possessed superhero against elemental satanic underlings), lasted a combined 6 minutes (I don't think I'm exaggerating there...) and featured some of the most awful one-liners to grace the screen since the 70s. At least Eva Mendes is an attractive distraction when she stumbles onto the screen.
