I received the 2019 Original Steelbook Release with a digital code that expired in 2020, not the 2023 Reprint that is being advertised. A label with the 2023 Reprint UPC Code was placed on top of the cellophane to cover up the 2019 Original Print UPC Code. This is False Advertising Best Buy and I’m returning it for a refund!!!

Item arrived damaged once i took off the plastic the case fell apart and was dented and broken also there was a hole in the digital copy and it was expired like the other person said looks like i got a returned original copy from the first run never had something like this happen with a best buy purchase im very disappointed

Where's the love? I feel the three reviews submitted thus far are not representative of the quality of this set. Two of the reviewers received damaged steelbooks. While this can be frustrating, it is the fault of the company's shipping quality control or delivery service and should not effect a review of the actual item. Simply exchange the damaged steelbook for a new one. The 3rd review gave bad marks to the video quality. But I found the 4K to be a revelation. Granted, the last time I watched these films was on VHS and a small NTSC TV. Now I have a 77" 4k LG OLED TV and I was amazed by the detail and color dynamics of the films. They will not win any quality awards, as the original films were not shot on the greatest filmstock, and the effects by today's standards are farcical. But the 4K production strikes the proper balance between showing the flaws on the original film and cleaning it up with digital tools for high resolution. It's undoubtedly a major upgrade over previous versions. The audio too is dynamic and offers greater definition than other home video formats. Lastly, the steelbook is a nice keepsake that arrived in flawless condition. I think the entire package actually deserves 3-4 stars because the movies are--let's face it--not the greatest and the quality has minor flaws that would normally cause me to take off a star or two. But the previous reviews were undeservedly negative and I am submitting a five-star review mainly to get a more proper balance for these classics from the '80s.

Reprint? The copy I got was clearly a returned product from the original run. Case was dented and the included digital code expired in 2020. Thanks Best Buy. On a seperate note, the movies are great.

Why Best Buy is leaving the blue ray market? These epic Movies deserve to be preserved and collected without the need of a monthly subscription. Its movies like the Ghostbusters that motivate me to keep buying physical media.

This 4k quality looks so so so so bad, it’s so pixilated, I thought it was just me so I looked online and a lot of people are saying the same thing. It looks awful. I have no idea why

I liked the steelbook and missed out on the original release of this steelbook and im glad i got it this time around!

Glad it finally came back in stock. A classic I’m it’s best available format.

Haven’t seen these movies completely in years it will be nice to watch them again.

Gremal should have read all the reviews before opening their unintelligent mouth. Our MAIN issue is the description says its a reprint. If that was the case then the code wouldnt have expired 3 years ago, Gremal. Be better next time.
