While cool to have the chintzy faux Tobin’s Spirit Guide book and base as a display piece, I didn’t find the game itself as enjoyable as the 2009 game, and honestly only popped it in and played it once. The setup and tutorials were simple, but the first “level” you play took me forever to capture the ghost and close the rift to the point where I did not enjoy my experience and shut it off. I’m a casual gamer at best and I found the mechanics more suited to the experienced player and too cumbersome for me. I did not and do not play online multiplayer so can’t comment on that experience. I may eventually pop it back in and finish the campaign at some point.

$30 extra for a paper box made to look like a book. Not even sure what the stand goes for because it’s too small to hold the poor excuse for a book. Is it to hold the game itself up? Why would I display the game randomly? Very disappointing.
