I bought Ghostwire Tokyo because I'm a huge fan of the Evil Within games by Tango Gameworks. The game ended up being unique and interesting. The rendition if Tokyo was really well done. I enjoyed my time with the game but the entire time I kept thinking how it wasn't as good as The Evil Within.

Ghostwire is a fun experience! The story is engaging with compelling combat and inventive enemy design. This deserved a lot better promotion than it got. Destined to be a fun little video game trivia tidbit in the evolving console wars

I really enjoyed this game but it is not for everyone. If you enjoy doing side quests, this is a great game. 90 percent of this game is side quests. I enjoyed the rich folklore and unusual narrative. The game looks fantastic and I enjoyed building hopping through Tokyo

Ghostwire: Tokyo dazzles with its atmospheric, neon-haunted version of Tokyo and inventive supernatural powers, but the repetitive structure and simplistic combat hold it back from greatness.

Absolutely gorgeous game and just downright fun. A bit on the repetitive side and enemy variety could be a little more but if you have any semblance of an interest in Japan or Japanese folklore, check it out

Pros:
Fun Combat
Decent Visuals
Great Story
Cons:
Another open-world game with lots of busy work.
The city is dead, unable to enter 99% of buildings turning the game into a bunch of hallways.

This game is definitely fun! It plays as a first person action game, I think the marketing potrayed it as horror and that was a mistake. There are creepy enemies and instances where you will definitely be on your toes, but nothing compared to survival horror games. It's like the farcry of mages, all attacks are magic based no weapons whatsoever (no guns, no blunt weapons) there is melee but nothing crazy. I like the Shibuya setting as not many games take place in these types of settings. The visuals do have trade off, you get 1080p for 60fps or 4k at 30fps which is unfortunate as I mentioned it's an action game so it's fast paced and the setting is pretty. Its really fun, might recommend it on a sale but for 60 it's not bad, bought it to get it with the steelbook no regrets

Another great game from Bethesda that gives any person willing to pick it up a unique and enjoyable experience. Ghostwire: Tokyo mixes elements of Japanese culture and folklore with that FPS gameplay that presents an enjoyable game. The main story is engaging and the challenges are abundant. There is a bit of a learning curve when starting, but after a while, it will become second nature. Of course, it helps that you can adjust the difficulty setting for the game when necessary, allowing you to increase/decrease challenge. I'm very happy with the game so, I absolutely recommend grabbing a copy to play.

Really cool game that i feel was judged harshly just because it wasnt exactly like the outright horror experience that Tango had previously done with the evil within games, This one has lots of supernatural spookery, really addictive gameplay and a world that gets more and more fun to explore as you get different powers

Feels like Skyrim meets Control set in a spirit infested city. Standard open world but brings a unique story told with care for the culture surrounding the lore.

If you love cinematic single player no filler no multiplayer no micro transaction crap…then this game is for you. I’ve just started playing it and the ray tracing in this game is great. These are the same devs who made the horror masterpiece “ The evil within 2” and deserve support for making a single player narrative driven game. Go out and buy now!

Different from the normal jrpg and it's in first person. The combat needs a little work or at least more to it, but I'm not minding it. The city itself makes up for it, looks great.

Love the concept and the visuals are amazing. Only a few hours in and I can see what some say about repetition. I feel that the Assassin Creed series are on a similar page. Definitely a fun game.
