    Remember when they used to make movies because they like making movies? Remember when practical effects were used to make often time hilarious displays that could put a smile on your face? This movie exemplies the greatness if ridiculous old School horror with all the oneliners, effects and slapstick to along with the bloody carnage.

    The movies are what they are. One commentary on here and it is very dry. Don't buy for features unless you already like the movies which are pretty sweet.

    Ghoulies II is far better than the first movie. For one thing it's fun and the fun comes from it being set at a carnival where our title monsters can wreak havoc. The original Ghoulies is more of an origin story for what the diminutive creatures. They are small demonic servants that get summoned in some sort black magic ceremony. Dull stuff really and nothing horror fans wouldn't have seen before.

    This movie has all of the 80s cheese that you would expect. I'd say if you like cheesy horror, this is for you. I've seen better in this particular field of cheese horror. Still, Ghoulies 1 and 2 are fun films. This is a single disc set, but both films still look great.
