For the Young tech-heads in my family, I always give at least each of them Best Buy $50 gift cards... This way they can choose to apply the gift card 2, the latest Samsung Galaxy Buds Live, (wireless earbuds), or the Power beats Pro Totally Wireless Earphones... I've noticed the boys have been using their gift cards towards more than just Accessories in this day in age as they're getting older... So the Best Buy gift card is definitely a great stocking stuffer or even Maine primary gift, for those special people in your family, you're not sure what to buy for them. It's a gift card, and what's not to like about gift cards? After receiving Best Buy gift cards over the years I've actually started buying them for myself. Why? Because it's a great way to put cash away that you're saving for something that you know you'll be buying at Best Buy. Like the new Xbox One X or a new TV. Cash is too easy to spend, and if I put cash into the checking account, then my wife thinks it's there to be spent, not thinking it's there to be saved for something specific. Granted, this only works if you KNOW you are going to purchase the desired product at Best Buy, which for my electronic needs is 90-95% of the time. I like my purchases going towards my status and I like earning points that turn into reward certificates. We also buy a lot of video games at Best Buy, primarily due to the savings that come from being a My Gamers Club member.

The phone is a good choice, but it is missing a physical SIM tray.

Some might think it odd that I am writing a review about a gift card, but I have shopped around for Christmas gift cards this season, and I kept running into purchase fees and expiration dates. In my opinion, it is just plain wrong to charge me to buy something I am already spending money on. My Mom needs a new TV and she always shops at Best Buy for her electronics so I went there to get her a gift card to put towards her purchase. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that Best Buy's gift cards NEVER expire, there is no fee to purchase them, no monthly maintenance fees, AND I got Rewards Points for purchasing it. Plus it came in the cutest little decorated sliding card holder. Other big box stores just gave me the plain plastic gift card and then I had to buy another card to put it in, ridiculous!! Go to Best Buy for your gift cards, who can't use new electronics?
