||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This mount is awesome. Sticks to the dash pretty rigidly using the supplied 3M pad. Can also be mounted on the windscreen. Magnetic mounting is such an ease over the flimsy "slide-in, adjust width" regular mounts. Tip: If deciding to use on dash, find a nice, somewhat flat spot and rub it with isopropanol to remove the greasy/slippery texture due to dashboard cleaners. Then apply the 3M mounting pad. It will stick with great strength. Pros: Heavy magnets, ease of attaching, the magnetic pads even work from inside a phone case, without being needed to be adhered on the cell phone. If needed, they can be adhered to the case itself and then mounted. Cons: Can't rotate camera at a different horizontal angle, other than what you had while mounting the suction cup.
