This fan is so noisy I can't concentrate on my studies. Once I decided not to keep this laptop, I restored it to it's original configuration. I had to set it all up again to discuss the problem with customer service. This time half the software was missing from the restore program. Not a reliable computer for basic computing and game playing.

An excellent laptop right out of the box. I Love its quiet feature mode, comes in handy. 4k quality is amazing, processer speed is as expected. Overall a great investment!

Could of had a higher refreah rate for monitor. People who complained about the wifi was stupid. You have to upgrade your wifi and router to current wifi 6 capable hardware. Your internet company does it for free. Wifi works perfectly.

this computer is great besides some cpnnectivity issues when gaming and its pretty loud

The laptop is fast (5 sec to turn on) and run games in high resolution without much effort. I'm enjoying it.

Awesome laptop, with Windows pro OS BestBuy for your money, unfortunately after win 11 update the fingerprint is not longer usable it gets disabled and I can't find the way to enable again

for me everything about this laptop is great, the screen, the hardware, the specs, the ram, the graphics card, the 1tb ssd, the processor, for a great sale price when i got it 5 months ago, this laptop is for my entertainment use is amazing. no wifi problem, no heat problem, no noise problem. the cam i dont need it i keep the cam shut. the battery above average.. the speed pretty fast..

the processor works amazing, the screen looks beautiful, and the graphics card can run any game i want to play at a good fps. that and the fact that ive never had any of the issues the other reviews mention such as the wifi disconnecting makes the 1299 price while its on sale amazing. If they get more in stock it is a must buy.

Beautiful screen, but the keyboard backlight, despite all the cool rgb features, doesn’t light up the secondary functions so you can’t tell which button is for volume etc in the dark. Also the usbc port on mine is defective, will likely be returning.

I do understand the frustrations over the 60hz refresh rate panel and the 'mushy keyboard' some were complaining about. Still none of that was enough to deter me from buying it. I am GLAD I did

This is a great laptop on paper, but I doubt it worth even a one-star review. The particular unit I got has WIFI problems. I noticed the problem when I first turn it on. Because windows will just update itself on such new machines, it immediately started downloading the updates. Then, I noticed that the update just failed due to missing connection. I did not realize it is the WIFI until much later I experienced a lot of "network disconnected" when browsing websites. I checked the windows event viewer, and can see that the WIFI unit will randomly become unresponsive to the driver, and the driver has to reset to bring the hardware back. The problem first seems random, but I found that the best way to reproduce it is to put some load on the CPU and GPU (e.g., run some benchmarks), and then try to access the internet at the same time. 90% of the time you can see the driver reset problem. This is important. It means whenever you are doing any real work, the network will get disconnected. I searched the problem online and can see that this is a common problem since gigabyte introduced this product line. It is unacceptable that they have spend no effort on fixing it after this many years. Also, be warned that this is not a particularly popular model, so you don't see that many people discussing this issue. It may seems some people finally found a solution because all the discussions on this problem seem just ended with no conclusion, but I highly suspect that they just gave up on fixing it. It may seem this issue can be address by replacing the wireless adaptor, but I am almost sure that it won't fix it, because 1) this problem occurred on a number of different wireless adaptors that gigabyte used for the product line, some of which has very good reputation on the quality, and 2) although pretty rare, you can find reports of people couldn't get rid of the problem by swapping the wireless adaptor. Also, because the problem can be reproduced with stressing the CPU and GPU, it is more likely a design flaw of the motherboard, where the voltage on the pcie port become unstable when the current going to CPU and GPU increases. Other than this problem, it is indeed a great creator laptop, but the question is what kind of creator can work without internet connection? It may be fine to hook up a network cable, but that is more of less tuning this machine into a desktop...

So far, I think it works great for me. At first I had problem with the HDMI 2.1 output coming back on after the laptop was in sleep mode. I figured out a workaround and I am enjoying the laptop ever since. I do hope there's a firmware update that will fix the HDMI issue.

To bad the Gigabyte control center ruins the otherwise great hardware performance here.Took a star off and returned thanks the glitches in performance by the control software .

Great display, outperforms my Dell G5 gtx 1060ti by x2 the graphics score and framerate since this new laptop has a newly released intel cpu and rtx 3060. would recommend to anyone who appreciates the work this laptop can put out.

Bought this from BestBuy Germantown back in Nov21. In terms of performance it's what the specs says it is. However, in terms of quality I began facing a problem with OLED screen going black whenever I try to adjust it or touch it. Since I shipped this out of the US I am unable to go to BestBuy for warranty. Gigabyte global support is of no help either (No service center available where I am and they only ask me to update the BIOS!!). Beware my friends!
