Good for budget 1080p gaming with current tech.

If you're targeting very good 1080p gaming and have no real plans to move to 2k or 4k anytime soon, this card should definitely be on your radar. Further, it is very well priced for the current card market conditions. Whilst big powerhouse cards are getting 1.5x reference msrp and beyond, this AIB is retail priced only $60 over reference msrp of $379 (which is, admittedly, set higher than you might expect to begin with).
Important: You may expect the limited top-end performance of this card to be unattractive to miners. You couldn't be more wrong. They don't pull lavish MH/s ETH, but what they do pull they accomplish with very high power efficiency. A 3080 will churn about 425 kH/W; this card will clear over 700 kH/W; you just need more of them to do it to achieve the same total throughput. Being in the bottom price range of current market tech makes these very attractive to long term miners building large, power-efficient rigs. Something to consider.

The GPU was available. Thats the only reason to ever order this at the listed price. I am not keeping this as i can find way more affordable GPUs by being patient and resourceful

Best Buy is continuing to price gouge people on GPUs. Even NewEgg is getting back to being closer to MSRP. This just shows the level of greed of the people who run Best(Worst)Buy. Just go to NewEgg or Amazon
