This is a gaming Laptop. Works just fine. You can game on it in simple words. No bells and whistles. People should try new products. Not everyone can afford 3080 ti with a MUX switch. Not everyone lives in the USA. Its affordable, good quality build with 3070ti. RAM is DDR5, 12th Gen intel, 1 TB fast SSD. Keep it simple for general people to buy the product and don't rate the product just because it doesn't have this and that. Can it run games at Ultra 60FPS? YES. Does it overheat? NO Keys have backlit? YE Is it affordable? YES Is the Build good? YES Is the display good enough? YES Do you need to worry about MUX? NO Should you try new brands? YES because ROG and Alienware were once new to the market. Does the laptop look Subtle and not overt-the-top Gaming laptop? YES, so we can use it when we go for demos and meetings. Should you make a decision based on reviews alone? NO and NEVER. Look at the hardware inside a laptop and decide. Chao.

I’ve had this for almost a year now and it’s done everything I’ve asked for. Runs all my games highest settings without a hiccup. Never had a laptop before, so the fan noise was shocking to me, but I wear a headset so I can’t hear it. Just annoys my wife when I’m gaming on the couch as she’s trying to watch tv. I’d recommend getting it

Good Performance, Bad Screen, Dissatisfactor Pre-I

It has good performance, but after three weeks of usage the screen started going haywire (look at photo attached) a few times a day. The Gigabyte Control Center app is kinda buggy and seems poorly made. The fans are loud.

By far the best value as far as best buy's 17 inch gaming laptops go: 135W 3070Ti is a major upgrade over 3070 others are sporting (close to 3080 according to benchmarks), RAM is DDR5 and not DDR4, and the CPU is 12th gen and not 11th (about 10% gain according to benchmarks). At $2100, this is $400 less than alienware that has 3070, DDR4 and 11th gen CPU. I've had this for about 2 weeks now, and have no complaints. Ordering a second one for a family member.

No problem if youre playing small games like Rocket League but if youre playing games like MW2 you have to play at the lowest settings to even get 60-80hz

Getting what we were looking for and expecting, needed a larger screen being 17 inches, i7 processor and 3070ti card. Would have liked to had 2k screen but with this being on sale at 1500 and the next step up being 3k, this meets the needs.

Gigabyte software is kinda dated. Wish it had a Mux switch. But those are my only complaints. At 3/4 the price of an Alienware with similar specs and in a smaller chassis this is a great deal on clearance.

I have been using BestBuy for literally all my life. So I trust anything that they have in their store. But this product has made me change my mind about the store it self. The hard drive stop working after 2 weeks. When I got this computer it was almost 1700 dollars, and now it is a paper weight. I don't have that type of money to throw away. I needed this product for both work and school.

Cheap plastic screen chassis/frame that just broke from opening and closing the laptop. Power port also snapped off inside the laptop. Its never been dropped, just cheap junk that broke. I expect better for a $2,000 laptop. I hope the warranty covers this.

This laptop is sweet. Ive been through 4 gaming laptops in the past 5 years and this one is the best by far. The asus laptops I had before always had some kind of glitch when i got it and i just delt with it. This one is perfect right out of the box with no issues what so ever. My only wish is that it had a uhd screen but the fhd its really just fine when you consider the high end components this laptop has. Totally worth it and would recommend it to everyone I know. If your thinking about getting this laptop do it. Also make sure your getting the total tech package because best buy has the best coverage for laptops. Ive replaced 4 laptops through this coverage with no problems.

Misleading information. Bottom line this laptop does not have a mux switch. Therefore you only achieve full performance with an external monitor.

I was really interested in this laptop after reading about the Aero, however the Aorus brings nothing new to the table. The laptop is 17.3" but still a 16:9 1080p screen. It really does not even reach the potential of all 360hz, honestly it feels like lost potential. Plenty of laptops this year are pushing out 16:10 displays, the Asus G14, 3 inches smaller, runs a 16:10 2560x1600 display with 500 nits. The Aorus at nearly $700 at time of this review, shows off a washed out display at 1080p. Also the temperatures, like all Intel CPUs are absurd. You have to have a custom fan curve on this laptop to make it usuable or it sounds like it will fly off. Even with the fan curve, it is still way too loud for something of this size and price tag when Ryzen chips are available. It feels like there's no point in that 10% or whatever performance boost in going Intel when Ryzen nets you far cooler temperatures and better battery life. Even if you did want that 10% boost with Intel, you're far better off getting the Zephyrus 16. Far cheaper and a much better display. Or the Blade 17, which has a aluminum chassis, sharper colors, and quieter cooling. The only thing the Aorus does well is its Gigabyte software, which I found much more clear to navigate with extra settings compared to Armory Crate or Razer Synapes. To reiterate though, the Aorus brings nothing new to the table at its price tag and form factor compared to their Aero. Do not recommend.

Keyboard didn't work, exchanging for a new one

I checked Device Manager and the keyboard was non-existent. I had to plug in another keyboard to do anything. I went online to download the keyboard drivers to see if that would fix the problem but it didn't do anything due to the keyboard not showing up on Device Manager. Hopefully the new one I get works, I'm having it sent to Bestbuy so I can try it there in case I have the same problem again. I'll update my review when and if I get a working model but will keep the keyboard issue in my review.
