This motherboard lasts around 7 months and cannot get into BIOS anymore and keeps posting error code 22. I tested all my other parts individually and they are all fine. I cleaned CMOS, test each individual memory slots and disassemble all my other parts, but still no go. Called Gigabyte and they said I need to ship it back to repair. I shipped as soon as I can by using 1-day shipping and they received it within 1 day but update the website after 3 days. The worst part is on 5/5/2017, they said they don't find any issue. I paid for shipping for nothing. So disappointed. I will never touch any Gigabyte products.

What intrigued me most about this motherboard was the on board Soundblaster internal DAC system. My headphones are fairly high impedance and this board drives it him with great audio! The lighting tracks on the back are a nice touch and the build quality is solid. Excellent feature packed board.

This motherboard comes fully loaded with everything needed for gaming or everyday use. Only thing missing is having a wireless chip built in on the board.

This is a great motherboard to pair with a 6700K. The white matched well with my RAM.

From DAY 1 until this day I have NOT had any issues with this MB ever! Unpack, plug everything in. DONE! no Issues NOTHING.

Pro PC Gamer for years really high end motherboard for people who want to do some serious gaming and overclocking! Using this for my 6700K and G Skill 3733 DDR4 Ram with H115i water cooling pump can max game without a problem for the enxt 5 years!

I bought this motherboard about 4 days ago and haven't even been able to use my build. I had checked reviews, but didn't see anything about the error code 55 that a lot of people have been getting. I purchased a kaby cpu to use with my build, but looking at other reviews, a skylake cpu is needed in order to upgrade or see the BIOS. I bought a cheap skylake, and with/without any ram installed I still get error code 55. If you plan on building a new computer, don't purchase this motherboard.

Everything was great until last month.. Most of the USB ports stopped working on my Gigabyte-Z170X-Gaming 7 motherboard a few weeks ago. BestBuy customer care refused to help me when I came to the store. So, I requested RMA and sent the device to Gigabyte. I got the device back with status: "No trouble found after tests with multiple configurations." I put it back to the system but still getting the same issues. I disconnected everything I could from the MB, put a new HDD, installed fresh OS - the issue persists. PS I just got a new MB from a different vendor and not from Best Buy - everything is working just fine! Same hardware: CPU, memory etc. I think I am done with Gigabyte.
