Gigabyte 3060

My son plays any and all games we wants at 1080p on his 144 Hz monitor w good quality. Not the absolute best for extreme gamers, but for an intro build and regular gaming you can’t go wrong. RGB is constant on all three fans and changes from blue (turquoise) to purple, also on front “Aorus” illumination. 12 gigs of vram should play any game for a quite some time. Card overclocks well and always stay cool. I think this is a solid choice and good recommendation for anyone just getting into gaming.

Incredible upgrade

I have upgraded again to a 6700xt from AMD, and can say that this GPU was much more stable. The 6700xt can get more frames, but the 3060 is way more consitent.

Great Card!

It has amazing cooling, played Elden Ring on Med-High settings and never went over 43C. Runs pretty much every game I've played on Med-Max settings at 144fps.

AORUS Geforce RTX 3060

It's almost as large as a 3090 with the huge cooler it has but it's quiet and the fans look nice. I had one issue with it that caused my PC to crash but I'm not sure what caused it and it hasn't happened since. I would wait for it to go below $400 though since the roughly $500 I paid for was very over price but I was desperate.
