the original price is not a worth to buy price. The biggest issue on the card is that the the temperature. About 10 degree more than my evga or asus 80ti. However if the prices is low enough, it is really a good deal and buy it with no doubt.

If you're not comfortable OC'ing a basline 3080ti, this is a decent way to go. The additional cooling also helps.

I was only abke to use the card for one day. The following day, there was no output from the monitors. Not much support in getting it replaced or repaired by both Best Buy and Gigabyte, so I just refunded.

Both monitors black screened, GPU fans went full throttle. Turned off PC and would no longer boot. Removed GPU and it fired right up (also fired up with my old 2070 Super), card upright died. After some research, this is a known problem with Gigabyte cards. Was lucky that I had time to return it to best buy ended up ordering the EVGA FTW3. Gigabytes customer service is terrible... do NOT get this brand.

Card dead after 18 days of use.

I was very excited when I found this card randomly in stock at a local best buy. I was looking for the normal 3080 model but I figured i would treat myself and get the TI since its what they had. After installing the GPU everything was great and I was enjoying my games at full graphics. as normal when I put anything new into my system I monitor it. I was very happy with the thermals and the speeds this beast was running at. Best buy has a 15 day return policy and the card came with a 4 year warranty so I figured I was good with this card for a long time. 18 days after having this card my pc rebooted while playing a game that doesnt even come close to pushing this card. I then turned the pc back on and boom a large puff of white smoke flew out of all my fans and smelling like burnt electronics my heart sunk. After that the first thing i did was take out the GPU and hook up my monitor to the on board display for my motherboard. The pc booted up fine and i was able to see everything else in the system functioning fine. I then took the risk and plugged this card back in just to see if it would output anything. the lights on the site lit up but no display. When you spend $1500 on a piece of hardware you dont expect it to die that quick or for a long time. At this point i had two option go through the pain of an RMA or try to have best buy do something about it even though its past the return date. Best buy was willing to exchange the GPU for another. I was lucky that the day this happened they just received a shipment of 3070 3080 ti and 3090 ti founders cards. I ended up with a 3080 ti and a refund of the difference in cost which was $350. The founders card is running a little hotter than this card but the FPS i am getting in the games i play are actually better. I dont know if that means that the Gigabyte card was a dud from the start and wasnt running right out of the box or if the founders cards are just over all better. Either way i have seen many other post with the same issues. I dont do any mining with this card and did not mod any setting plus the only thing i use this pc for is work emails and games and when i game its maybe 1-3 hours every other day and my pc is never on unless im sitting in front of it For this amount of money the OC on these should be alot better than they are. this isnt some $200 buget cards and its just bad for something that should be high end to fail that quick. Also i did try to contact gigabyte by phone before trying best buy but i was on hold for over 2 hours trying to get someone on the phone and it took a total of 1 hour to drive to best buy get my replacement and be back at my house with it. Thats just a bad look for gigabyte. Needless to say i will not be buying anything from gigabyte any time soon.
