This is one of my favorite tv shows. I watch this show.all the time. It will never get old.

Finding this first seaon on dvd made me happy. I love this show and can now start collecting the other six seasons.

Pic quality is very average. Maybe the blu ray looks better.

Gilmore Girls has always been a favorite. I love the fast dialogs, the jokes, the characters and the situations they find themselves in (and have to get out of). The premise follows a single mom, Lorelei, who had her daughter, also named Lorelei (or Rory) when she was very young herself. Since they are so close in age they are more like (envial) best friends than mother-daughter. A complete turn around from Lorelei's own relationship with her mother. Enter strange town folks, a deep romance and lots of memorable and humorous quotes throughout the next seven seasons of their show. I love it! I waited until Best Buy had a sale on this product and bought three. The best part was how cheap and fast the shipping was. If you can catch these DVDs and others when they have them on sale (which they often do) order them online! Unless you live next to a Best Buy it would be cheaper to have them send it to you than pick it up yourself.

This show is very well written. Lots of fast witty dialogue and brilliant acting. This show is very touching and brilliant. A amazing story of a single parent, her daughter, and a quirky little town. Such a great story and great interactions between all characters. This is great beginning too a great tv show. Season one of a seven season long amazing show!!!

I love this series and Best Buy is the best place to pick them up. I watch for my favorite tv series to go on special. Best Buy ran this series for $20 each and I grabbed them all. The Gilmore Girls are great story about the mother daugther relationship.

This is a great start to a wonderful series. It has heart, wit, romance and joy. It makes you smile.

I bought this along with season 1&2 as a birthday present for my wife.

Personally, I don't quite get why the females love this, but wow! there is a lot of talking.
