Glee was fantastic in its first 13 episodes during season 1. When it came back for the back 9 episodes of that first season, it seemed to change a bit, the quality was not quite on par when they started writing the storylines around the songs they wanted to sell on iTunes vs. including songs that fit the storyline. With each following season, the storylines became more and more farfetched, but the final season did provide for some decent closure and provided nostalgia for those early episodes of season 1. For fans that stuck through the series, a good final season to complete your dvd sets.

Glee Season Five was, for me, a disappointment. I thought the first three seasons were great. But Season Four made what I feel was an error in judgment. Faced with the problem of a number of the most popular characters graduating from McKinley High, the creators chose to try and retain them in the show, splitting the action and the plots between Ohio and New York City, while at the same time adding new characters in both locations. The result was that everything was spread too thin, the flow of action became disjointed, and the show suffered as a result. They would've been better off by either splitting off the older characters into a new 'After Glee' show of their own, following them in New York by themselves, or taking the chance on just sticking with - and developing the younger characters and keeping everything going with New Directions at McKinley High. But now with Season Five, it seems that the creators not only didn't resolve the structural problems with Season Four, they've continued to add to them in Season Five with what amounts to a complete loss of direction as well as any sense of what really made the show work in the first place. And of course the death of Cory Montieth cast a pall over everything.

I have loved this series from day 1 - as a choir and drama kid myself, this is like watching my high school years all over again! Just with hipper music and way better lighting! LOL Its gonna break my heart to see it all end this year! GREAT SONGS< GREAT CAST< GREAT STORY LINES! Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is one of the better musical tv shows in the air. .this season showed the passing of one of the main characters and it is a tribute to both his talent and the talents of the other cast members.. they were able to make the tribute episode a fitting memorial

If you've been a die hard Gleek (fans of Glee) like me since day 1, then season 5 is a must have and essential to adding to your Glee collection. It's the last season we see the new kids as regulars so that makes it bittersweet.

Loved all the seasons this one is no different. My kids and my grandchildren love this show. I am sorry that there is only going to be one more season. I do miss alot of the old people but the new ones are good too.

This has one of the saddest episodes of the series. The acting and singing is some of the best of the show. Have a box full of tissues when you watch the part when Finn's mom is helping to clean out his room.

One of my favorite shows. The only downside is that Fox isn't putting out seasons 5 & 6 on blu ray. I hate that I own the first four seasons on blu ray and have to settle for DVDs for the last 2 seasons.

I was eagerly waiting for season 5 to come out! Was not disappointed at all! I have loved "Glee" from the start and it keeps getting better! So sad that they are on their last season, though!

Glee definitely has taken a nose dive after the gang graduated from high school, but then again all teen shows do that. The main reason to own this is the tribute episode to Finn Hudson

This is yet another amazing season for Glee. I suggest buying this so you can see where these amazing characters go in the fifth season of FOX's musical comedy.

This is just a show that makes you feel good…regardless of race, gender, social status, religion…etc……Light fun, while sending a message & lots of singing

This season was as great as the previous 4 seasons. The show continues to hold your interest in storyline & choreographed songs & dance.

Just like old friends, it's great to have another season to refresh my memory. Plot is getting a little stretched, but songs are always great.

This item was right on display in the center isle. The promotion was clearly marked and for a great price. Was very happy with this.

My teenager daughter loved the glee show and now she can watch it over and over. If you like singing this is a good show.

I have watched this show from the very beginning to the final bow. I will cherish these DVDs for many years to come.

A fan from the beginning, this show initially blew audiences away, set records, and developed a strong fan base. However, like other Murphy TV endeavors ("Popular" anyone?), its unevenness and absent-mindedness in story lines, no doubt contributing to GLEE's series run end. I've got all the other seasons, got this, and will get the final 6th season just to add to my collection.

For those that enjoy musicals this is a show that is too good to miss it will touch you in certain episodes

With the death of Finn and the music in this season, anyone who enjoys the series will not be disappointed.
