My wife and I have been playing this. It took us watching a few videos to understand the basics and we still need to reference the rules (i.e. Google search) now and then. But that's part of playing any game really. Just jump on and play don't worry about knowing all the rules, that will come qith5 time from playing the game. During the pandemic we we're really looking for something for the two of us to play together in lieu of Dungeons & Dragons. This is a great substitute, and a great game in it's own right. My wife is playing Cragheart and I am playing Tinkerer. Not the best combo, but I would say just play what interests you, rather than going for the most efficient/strongest combo(s). We also use the reusable stickers ($10) in case we want to play through again with friends later on. Also don't forget the Gloomhaven Helper app!! Comes in handy a lot. Might want to get some kind of organizer, because it takes up a lot of space and it would help with setup.

A big, heavy, 23 pound box of AWESOME gaming. Can be playeed Solo, but easier to lift witth 2, so play with 2-4!

Weighing in at 20lb it isn’t an understatement to say there is a lot in this box. If you like puzzles board games or dungeon crawlers this game is for you.

I have been looking for this HUGE boardgame for a looong while, when I saw that Best Buy.com carried it I grabbed it right away. Every single Gloomhaven box that I have found from local game stores and whatnot look like they have been sat on in a back alley somewhere with all the dents and scratches on it. Ordering it from BBY.com I knew that if it was shipped like that I would easily be able to hop into my local store and have them send me a new one. The one that came was in almost perfect condition however. I don't want to go and write a full review on the game since that is available from many people already, and with all the rewards that this has gotten over the years it should speak for itself. Grab 4 people that you can stand to play with once or twice a month and pick this game up, TONS of replayability and world building when it is played by the same people. Think DND with every single person in the group participating because everything is already setup for you to play. 10/10 and thank you Best Buy for carrying it.

Great game so far. Feels like playing D&D but in board game form. Would definitely recommend to any who loves board games and RPG's and also those who like these style games or D&D. There is a lot of pieces so, I would recommend looking into a storage solution to keep things nice and organized.
