Don't assume they sent what you ordered. Sent me a pre-owned v1 instead of the new v3 I ordered. Aura key caps are great, but be VERY certain you have the right product before installation. Otherwise you may find yourself doing 3 installations and a return with NOTHING done to make it right.

I am sure the pudding-head letters are wonderful. I thought I'd ordered a keyboard, because that's what the website displayed. Why would anyone want a box of letters? Imagine the surprise when I opened the box and there was no keyboard. The BestBuy Return Guy declined to open the box when I warned him that he'll spend hours picking all those little letters up. Read the offerings very carefully, then read them again, and one more time.

Sorry to read about your experience with the Aura Keycaps. You are correct, this is a product listed under the "Gaming Keyboard Switches and Keycaps" category and when you buy it, you get a set of RGB-friendly keycaps that you can install on a barebones keyboard that already has the switches installed.
