8K without a wire! This mouse is crazy.

I play a lot of Valorant, and I’m super picky about my gear. I wanted something wireless (because cords are cursed), but I also needed 8K polling for that buttery smooth aim tracking and snappy flicks. Most wireless mice either didn’t have 8K or made you pay extra for a charging mat, puck, or some other weird setup. I almost dropped $200+ on a combo from Logitech or MSI… until I found the Glorious Model O3.
This mouse is a beast! In the box: It comes with two swappable batteries and a charging base that doubles as your receiver. But here’s the clutch part: it has a "Guardian Battery" inside that keeps you powered for 10+ hours even if you forget to swap (I swap every couple days). So mid-match, you’re not panicking or reaching for a cable. You just finish the round, swap, and keep fragging.
The 8K wireless polling is legit. Don't have to be wired to get it. I noticed the difference immediately—tracking feels tighter, and my flicks are more consistent. If you’re grinding ranked or just want that edge in gunfights, this matters. And unlike other brands, Glorious gives you 8K wireless out of the box. No extra dongles, no firmware hacks. 8K FOREVER!!
Also, the price? I got it at $159.99 for the whole setup. That’s wild. Logitech’s PowerPlay system (mouse + special mat) alone costs extra ($299?? Uh, Nope), and Razer doesn’t even do 8K wireless yet. Glorious gives you everything in one box, and it just works.
If you’re an FPS player who wants zero downtime, top-tier responsiveness, and no cable drama (drama is for your llama, sir), this mouse is it. I’m locked in.
Could I have waited for some holiday deal, sure but then I wouldn't being using it now :) After using it, I will definitely get a second one for the gf who steals it for her PC play.

I really like this mouse. Just getting that out up front. The glorious model 03 was replacing a mouse I was really happy with that had developed connection issues, so the bar was pretty high. After about a week I can say I'm super impressed. The shape is very comfortable and ... it's a nice gaming mouse. It does everything you want. So what is that ...
It comes with a super flexible braided usb cable, wireless dock w/ extra battery, wireless dongle, and the mouse with an installed batter. The mouse also has a non-swappable internal battery that's supposed to last hours, but I haven't messed with that to test the lifespan.
The setup is easy enough. Windows will recognize this as a standard usb mouse and work perfectly, but when you download the glorious core software you get access to much more customization. You can set a bunch of different DIP levels that you can swap to on the fly of course, color coded to an led on the bottom of the mouse and on the dock. More importantly to me, you can turn off the RGB on the mouse, which is my preference. There was also a firmware update for both the mouse and dock out of the box, which required a separate usb cable so be aware of that. Once you've updated and customized the settings to your liking you save to mouse and don't have to bother with the glorious core software again. At this point I have a lot of software to control a lot of different aspects of my pc and it's nice to have one that doesn't force you run all the time or otherwise keep intruding. Good stuff here.
The mouse itself feels good. The material is lightweight but still feels premium somehow. The buttons are all nice and appropriately crisp. The skates glide effortlessly over my mouse mat, very happy there. I didn't really see the benefit of the dock at first. You can plug the dongle directly into your pc and bypass it entirely, again having options are nice. Then I built a new desk setup and moved everything around and the dock became a lifesaver. My pc used to be up on my desk, now it's sitting a few feet off to the side on a shorter table. That puts the pc wifi/bluetooth radio and my router between the mouse and pc. I was getting these intermittent signal dropouts for awhile before it clicked in my brain. Oh yeah. The 2.4ghz band is crazy crowded right here. So now the mouse is essentially directly in front of the dock and the signal is rock solid. Love that. The swappable battery design is great. Seems a bit gimmicky, but you know I love the idea that I can replace the battery in something without having to rip it apart. I would like it if that smaller battery were accessible as well, for the same reasons, but baby steps I guess. That said, I have put a ton of hours on this mouse and the hot-swap feature is super convenient. This should be the standard for all wireless products. Get 100% charge in 10 seconds? Correct.
Trying to think of what I dislike. Probably just the shape. It takes me forever to adjust to the shape of a new mouse. I bought multiple copies of my favorite mouse for years until it was discontinued, so I'm pretty picky in a weird but maybe not uncommon way. It always takes me awhile to adjust to a new mouse and that was no different here. The surprise I guess was that I was pretty comfortable on day three. It's slightly longer front to back with a slightly lower arch than my previous mouse. I'm absolutely happy now. Feels great in gaming, should probably dial the dpi back a little bit between everyday use and gaming, but I like how smooth it feels. Yeah no real complaints I guess.
This mouse has amazing features. It requires yet another piece of third party software to access all of those features, which sucks. BUT! The software is not invasive, and can be deleted once you get your settings right if you're so inclined. That's cool. The mouse and dock have a premium feel and the battery life of the swappable batteries seems to be right. The thing is will this fit you? This is something you'll be holding in your hand for hours at a time. The shape works for me, but everyone's different. I'd say give it a shot if these features tickle your fancy.

Glorious is a gaming hardware company based in Dallas, Texas. Founded in 2014 by Shazim Mohammad, Glorious LLC is famous for keyboards, & elite gaming mice.
Glorious just introduced the Model 03 Wireless Mouse, a 66g ultralight weight gaming mouse. Unique to the Model 03 is a hot swappable Lithium-ion battery pack. The mouse ships with two removable battery packs. One powers the mouse & the other plugs into the included charging hub. The batteries can be swapped out in a few seconds without killing your game. This is a brilliant invention!
This mouse is a stellar performer featuring 8,000 Hz Polling Rate. The optical switches are rated for 130M for long term reliability. DPI is adjustable from 50 - 30,000 dots per inch!
Model 03 features a total of 6 programmable buttons, including 2 thumb buttons. Wireless connectivity options are Bluetooth, or 2.4Ghz / Low Latency Radio Frequency, with included receiver. A braided USB-A to USB-C cable connects between hub & mouse, enabling wired operation. The hub has indicators for Mouse, Base, Polling & DPI.
This mouse measures 1.59”H x 2.59” W x 4.97” L & fits my large palm perfectly. While my gaming style is Palm grip, this mouse also accommodates Claw grip, Fingertip grip & standard. The RGB lighting is fantastic!
CONCLUSION:

Glorious: Revolutionary swappable battery system

Glorious Model O3 Lightweight Wireless Optical Gaming Mouse with InfinitePlay Swappable Battery System & Charging Base Station is, to me, revolutionary in a gaming mouse. This mouse will allow you to swap batteries on the fly so you will never have to stop gameplay for a dead battery ever again. I have found this mouse to be comfortable when playing. I do have smaller hands, still I am able to hold the mouse and press any desired button without issue.
Setup is simple - this is plug and play. But the main draw for this particular mouse has to be the swappable battery system. Charge up one of the two swappable battery packs and insert it into the Glorious mouse with a simple push, until it clicks into place. To remove it, you simply push it inwards and it pops out. I found that the battery does add a wee bit of weight to the back of the mouse, but not enough to be annoying at all. Slide the other battery into the charging base so you will be ready when another battery is needed. The battery pack should stay charged for up to 71 hours via 2.4GHz or 130 hours if using bluetooth. The mouse itself has an internal battery that will stay charged for approximately 10 hours so that when you take out the battery to swap, you still have plenty of available play time.
There are 3 ways to get going with this. You can choose bluetooth, 2.4GHz with the dongle or wired via USB-C which will keep charging your battery as you play. The dongle is larger than one might expect and because of its large size, you can't really leave the dongle inserted when transporting your laptop. I had a weird thing happen when trying to use the dongle the first time. Instead of using the included USB-A to USB-C cable to attach the charging base to my laptop, I was trying to use one of my own that was at hand. Well, my cable didn't work and I thought the mouse was defective and after trying several things to fix it, I finally decided to try the included braided cable - and it worked. just as intended That is a lesson to me to use what comes with the product! I also had a bit of trouble with bluetooth - getting connected was an issue, but once I managed to get it connected, it stayed. The next time I used it, it didn't want to connect again. I'm sensing a common theme here: is it me???
As far as specifications: the maximum polling rate is 8000Hz for wireless, 1000Hz for wired use and the DPI can be set from 50 to 30,000 which is crazy to me. It is lightweight at 66 g and it is built to last for 130,000,000 clicks. It does have RGB and you are able to change those settings in the Glorious Core app which you are able to download from their website, if RGB is your thing. From the app you are also able to change settings, swap button responses, DPI, polling, etc. Some of those are also able to be changed via a button on top of the mouse or on the charging base.
Overall, I really like this mouse for its swappable battery system, the light weight, the ergonomics and the performance. I would recommend the Glorious Model O3 Lightweight Wireless Optical Gaming Mouse with InfinitePlay Swappable Battery System & Charging Base Station to anyone looking for a for an exceptional gaming mouse.

THIS… IS the Glorious Model O3 gaming mouse, a new form factor mouse with a new BAMF 3.0 sensor and a few tricks up its sleeve. With 8k polling, a a promise for unlimited battery life and weighing in at 66 grams… lets take a look to see how this mouse stacks up!
Out of the box, the Model O3 is certainly a new generation of mouse as it looks almost completely different from the model O2 with a much more comprehensive RGB profile. Another thing you will notice is a small orange butt on the mouse, a nifty new feature that glorious has added in that makes it so you never have to ‘charge’ your mouse again. The box comes with the mouse, a usb-c cable, two batteries, a charging hub and a usb wireless dongle that can plug into the charging hub or a usb on your PC. The two batteries make it so that you can hot swap your battery so your mouse never dies, and the mouse will last around 30-60 seconds without a battery, giving ample time to swap the batteries. Each battery gives the mouse around 15-20 hours of life, which can be improved by turning down or off the mouse's RGB and polling rate. One thing I will note is that for as good as the mouse looks, the battery charging hub is not the most attractive. I don’t understand why Glorious didn’t make it look prettier or ‘cooler’? The wireless dongle for the mouse can plug into it, I assume most people will keep this on their desk top for ease of access… so I am just a bit disappointed to see that more effort wasn’t put into the battery charger when other brands have done more at this point with the same concept. The charging station does have a customizable button on it that you can program in the glorious software to do various actions, but again, the charging hub is an eye sore.
In practical use, this mouse is great. It works well with several grip styles and sits in a larger than normal footprint making it good for claw grips. It has skates on it which help it glide over your mousepad with ease and the 8k polling really makes everything smoother in game. The scroll wheel feels really good with a good snap when rotating. The buttons on the O 3 follow the normal 3 button program with the top button controlling DPI and the side buttons being programable. All the buttons have a snappy response with a good click except the main mouse buttons which have a high pitched whirl when clicked. It is pesky, but in game you can’t hear it. My biggest gripe with this mouse is its weight. It is stated at 66 grams, however, it is noticeably heavier and moves slower than a my G pro superlight even though it technically only weighs 4 grams more. Not a deal breaker for everyone, but not the most competitive either.
The Glorious Core software included is the best version yet that I have seen from Glorious. It finally feels like complete software with a snappy response! I really don’t have too much to say here regarding the glorious core software, which is a good thing. It lets you do what you need to do and exit.
Overall, I am a bit disappointed but not completely heart broken. The O3 is a truly good looking mouse with RGB that is very well executed. With 8k polling and a new hot swappable battery system, the O3 does have high end features. That being said, it just isn't a super unique or ‘fun’ mouse. From a rather ugly charging base to feeling heavy in the hand, I am left wanting a bit more from this mouse and was constantly turning to others when I was gaming. That, mixed with it not having the best interaction of the hot swappable batteries and its hefty price really delays me in recommending it. That being said, it is all preference! As always, BestBuy has an awesome return policy, so there is no harm in testing just how well the Glorious O3 mouse fits into your gaming setup. Until next time :)

Super smart power management

I normally stick to the bigger names when it comes to my mouse needs, but this mouse stuck out for it's clever power management abilities. When you would normally need to plug in or set your mouse on a dock to charge it up, this one falls back on an internal battery while you swap the battery with an extra one that's been charging for you. Your mouse never loses power and the urgency to charge is completely gone. I'm a big fan.
Setup is pretty easy. There's a "dock" unit that you plug into your computer which charges your extra battery. The dock also contains an input for the wireless transceiver. Plug in the transceiver and hold the power button on the bottom of the mouse to turn it on and everything should just work for you.
The dock has four status lights that keep your updated on the status of various things you would need to know. I really like this information being on the dock because the dock sits on my desk. It wouldn't work quite as well if you try and hide it, but since it also charges your extra battery, I feel like having it readily available is pretty important. The status of the battery being charged is displayed along with the status of the battery that's in your mouse. You also have lights that indicate which polling rate and DPI you currently have set. The lights change color based on the setting so you'll get to know which color stands for which setting over time (the colors are displayed in the application as well).
The coolest (and frankly, simplest) idea that makes this mouse stand out is that there's a third, internal battery in the mouse. The "guardian" battery's status is displayed in the app (I think an extra led on the dock would have been nice for this). This extra battery means you can swap out the battery in your mouse without it ever disconnecting. It also means that there's no scrambling to do it when your battery is dead. Finish up your task and swap out the battery the next time you have 10 seconds of free time in your game. It's rare enough to find a mouse with a hotswappable battery (that isn't a AA), but it's crazy with how simple this idea is that an internal backup battery isn't more common.
The application is fairly lightweight and didn't ask me to sign in to anything (which is always appreciated). Updating firmware does require you to plug in your mouse but the whole process takes about 2 minutes so it's not a huge deal. The application also saves your settings to the actual mouse so you shouldn't need to keep the app running at all times. You have up to six DPI settings you can adjust as well as polling rate, a liftoff maximum distance, "debounce time" and standby time. Lighting settings are fairly basic but you can still adjust quite a bit. And then you can rebind every button on the mouse. It all works pretty intuitively and I'm a big fan after being forced to use software from Razer and Corsair and Logitech for so long.
The mouse feels good if you like this style of mouse. Doesn't feel too heavy or light for me. Clicks feels nice. Movement is smooth without any stutters or wireless issues. The only thing I would have loved to see is a smooth scrollwheel option (I've grown very used to having a clicky scroll wheel that switches to smooth if you scroll really fast) and being able to "click" the scroll wheel to the left and right. Other than those two things, this mouse has everything you could want.
If you're in the market and this mouse feels good for you, I'm finding it to be quite nice. If it fits your budget, give it some consideration.

Fast and Lightweight

The Model O 3 is an extremely fast, lightweight mouse that’s surprisingly comfortable to hold. It has a more traditional shape than most gaming mice, and when combined with the light weight, it actually makes for a great travel companion. The one downside for travel is the dongle, it’s fairly large and can’t be stored inside the mouse. Otherwise, this would probably be the best travel mouse ever.
The dual-battery swap system is an interesting concept, and it makes sense if you plan on running the mouse at 8,000 Hz polling. That setting consumes substantially more power than a typical 1,000 Hz mouse. I was a little worried I’d notice the orange battery pack sticking out of the back, but even after a week of use, it hasn’t bothered me once. Your palm never actually touches it, and the battery pops in and out like an SD card.
In terms of polling, I did have some trouble getting it to consistently hit 8,000 Hz, though I’m fairly certain that’s more on my browser and software than the mouse itself. I ended up using a workaround to measure GPU usage while testing, and the spikes confirmed it was reaching those high polling rates. Interestingly, that also showed just how much extra strain such a high polling rate can put on your other components, especially noticeable if you’re using a laptop on battery power.
The Glorious Core software is simple and intuitive, though surprisingly hefty (over 800 MB) for installation. I actually like that the DPI adjustment button is on the base instead of the top, as I’m notorious for accidentally changing DPI right when it matters most.
Overall, I really like this mouse. It’s remarkably comfortable, perfectly balanced, and the RGB lighting is well placed. The battery-swap design did feel like a bit of a novelty at first, especially since similarly priced mice can last 40-60 hours on a single charge, but if you’re wanting the absolute highest wireless performance, this is a clever and capable way to do it.

Excellent mouse with spare battery

The Glorious Model 03 mouse is an excellent, lightweight mouse weighing only 66g. It can be connected via wired (USB-C to USB-A), 2.4ghz wireless (dongle in base or dongle only), and Bluetooth.
Coming from a smaller mouse, I initially had some trouble getting used to the Model 03’s larger shape and changing my tighter grip to a palm hold. This caused a few misclicks at first, but over time the mouse started to feel more natural and comfortable. All of its buttons feel good, including the notched scroll wheel.
The Glorious CORE software is pretty solid as well - there are a lot of customizations that were beyond what I expected. It supports up to three profiles, each with six custom DPI settings, along with lighting and button remapping options. However, a small inconvenience was that each time a change was made on a page, I had to hit the ‘save changes’ button, otherwise it would just revert to its previous setting.
Perhaps the best thing about this mouse is the swappable battery - though the bright orange color could clash with certain setups’ color schemes.
The mouse’s base has a slot for the USB dongle and can charge the second battery, which is convenient since it would only take up one USB port on the computer in total. It also has a single customizable button, and the attached USB cable is very long.
That being said, the more I use this mouse, the more comfortable and better it feels. Having a spare battery and a charging base for it also gives me peace of mind. Coupled with the solid Glorious CORE software, in my opinion it makes for an excellent gaming mouse.

man how am I gonna start this first of I recently got into peripherals, specifically mouse and keyboard. I think this is Glorious first swappable mouse as well. and it’s interesting to for sure, some people would find this useful but some might also think its niche that nobody would care.
DEVICE:
Model o3 is one unique gaming mouse. it offers a 8000hz pooling rate, with 30k DPI sensor with 130m optical switches. inside the box you get the wireless receiver, the base and Model o3 comes with 2 battery packs which Glorious claim it offers up to 71 hrs battery life while on 2.4 ghz. that’s pretty insane.
EXPERIENCE:
I love the based its very useful it has light information, you get the DPI, the light for the base, the mouse light and pooling rate. popping out the battery is simple the fact that I have ability to swap that provides continuous play is such a huge game changer. knowing I dont have to plug the mouse and play with a cord attached, Glorious definitely did great with the battery swap. I do have couple of things I didnt like about I think the base station is chunky, the coating is terrible I wish glorious would have went with much better coating the mouse look cheap honestly, after finally having the time, experience and feel of how the mouse function on the normal day. this mouse feels awkward to me when holding it with my had I feel and ive been using this mouse on shooting game including the finals, maybe the hump location thats throwing me off, its a medium nut but its not natural feeling compared to mu other 3 gaming mouse I use. performance during game is great on The finals I did have to lower the DPI to 2000hz due to receiving weird screen issue. after playing for multiple hours this is where you fully understand how useful it is to have mice that has an ability to swap battery on the fly.
CONCLUSION
im very happy with glorious model o3 I think swapping the battery having that ability is such a game changer. like I mentioned Im not a fan of the coating im hoping for this price range the coating would be better this currently my heaviest mice I currently own, most of the mice I have are below 50grams. Also wish the base was had a bit more of a character the base is basic nothing special but what it can do and it offers different lighting color depends on what settings you have. id say buy this mouse if youre tired of charging your gaming mouse. glorious is on the right path but I think they can improve this mice alot more, I didnt like how I never got comfortable holdinh this mice hopefully in the future they can make it a bit more slimmer

Having RGB in a wireless mouse creates issues when it comes to battery life. Glorious has a unique solution which includes a base charger and replaceable batteries in the mouse. I have several gaming mice from multiple companies and most if not all of them have very limited RGB lighting and the overall battery life is a couple of days. With this Glorious mouse I can have very active and bright RGB lighting without ever having to worry about finding a dead mouse. The included base station that allows you to extend the dongle closer to the desktop, charge the spare battery and has a button that can be assigned to a mouse function.
Pros:
- Base charging station and two batteries
- Customizable RGB lighting
- Glorious Core software gives you total control of the mouse options
- Light weight with a solid feel
Cons:
- Low profile may not appeal to all users
- Large dongle which really extends outward
- Orange Battery in the back detracts from the overall look
Grip and Feel: This mouse is very symmetrical and smooth. It doesn’t have a raised or slanted top that is common on a lot of gaming mice nor does it have any non-slip padding or etching for improving your grip. The top is slightly rounded and drops off on the sides in a uniform manner. This along with its low profile makes it more comfortable for smaller hands than larger ones. I have a medium to large hand and my hand covers the mouse and then contacts the mouse pad which is somewhat a negative. Also I find the low profile and smooth surface makes using a claw grip slightly more difficult. If you have small to medium hands you most probably will love this mouse.
Software Features: The Glorious Core software gives you the ability to configure the mouse to your liking. It allows you to assign up to three different profiles. Each profile you can assign the six buttons, the dpi sensitivity, polling rate and RGB lighting. I created three different profiles based on my games and then reassigned the base station button to cycle through the profiles so I can change profiles without having to open the software. The software gives you several preset RGB options and also allows you to fully customize it. Because you get two batteries and a charging station you don’t have to worry about the battery being drained by the lighting.

I’m not a serious gamer but I have one game I do enjoy playing and I got this
Mouse specifically for that. However after looking it over, I really like the way it looks, moves, and feels just for regular work and fun use.
I’ve even taken it on the road and traveling with me because of the extra battery pack.
I was at the airport working with this mouse, battery went low and as I was switching it out, it got someone’s attention.
So I had to explain to them what it was, what I was doing, and if I liked the mouse.
The control hub is a little bulky but it gives me the battery level of both batteries in the hub and the one in the mouse.
So it’s actually very useful. Battery swap untouchable, love it
I’m 5’7” and have regular size hands and the mouse feels comfortable. Any larger and It wouldn’t feel ergonomic
Super responsive, absolutely no lag. I never find myself waiting
The glorious software is new to me but I was able to maneuver it fairly easy.
Overall I’m a fan of this company and this product.

Battery swapping is neat but comfort concerns
|
Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
I’m always a bit hesitant to order a mouse online without testing it in person because every hand is different, and what’s comfortable to one person may not be comfortable for another. I’d always encourage anyone interested in a mouse to test out the ergonomics of it in store where possible. While this mouse wasn’t comfortable for me personally, which is why I rated it lower, it does have positive qualities apart from how comfortably it fit my hand.
Let’s talk comfort more specifically. You can probably tell from the photos, the mouse buttons are flat from the top of the mouse instead of indented like many other gaming mice. This means when I’m using it, rather than my fingers resting on the mouse, they need to be curved to press down on the mouse. I spent many hours using this mouse, and while it’s less comfortable than other gaming mice I own, it’s not so uncomfortable that it prevents me from using it. It’s not likely to be the primary mouse I reach for long term though.
Let’s talk the swappable battery. The feature that caught my eye more than anything else on this mouse was the swappable battery with charging base. Now, is it necessary to have a swappable battery on a gaming mouse that tends to last days if not weeks of use without a swappable battery? Not really… but I love the option. It’s also great that it has a built in battery apart from the swappable one, to ensure you never lose connection even if the main swappable battery is depleted. It’s an overall unnecessary but neat gimmick that I’m on board with.
Let’s talk performance and connectivity. Performance I rate a 5/5 but connectivity I rate a 3/5 simply because the dongle to support a 2.4Ghz connection is enormous. I appreciate the mouse comes with a Bluetooth option, as well as a faster 2.4Ghz band option via usb-a dongle, but the dongle was pulled straight out of 2010. The last 2 gaming mice I’ve owned have had a tiny 2.4Ghz dongle built in, so it sits nearly flush with your computer. One of them even has a compartment inside the mouse the dongle can be stored in for travel. If you’re sticking it into the back of a Desktop pc, with no plans to ever move it, it’s probably fine, but given the technology of modern gaming mice, this piece was a disappointment.
All that said, I had smooth consistent input via Bluetooth or the dongle, and consistent polling on the plastic mat I use with my computer.
Overall, given the lack of contour in the mouse buttons, and the dongle from 15 years ago, I think there are better options for a gaming mouse out there. However, if you find yourself in a situation where being able to hit swap mouse batteries without losing power is important to you, this is the only option I’m aware of. Even still, given how long mice last, you’re probably just as well off with an external battery pack that has a usb-c charger on it since mice can work while charging and charge quickly.
If you end up with this mouse, I don’t think you’ll be unhappy, but given there are other options I’d prefer to recommend, this isn’t something I’d recommend to a friend.

Truly "InfinitePlay"

I’ll be honest, I was a little apprehensive at first about Glorious’ new “InfinitePlay” battery swap system. The concept sounded great on paper, but I wasn’t sure how practical it would be in real-world use. Still, knowing the consistent quality and reputation of Glorious products, I had to give it a shot.
Right out of the box, I could tell this mouse was lightweight just by how little the packaging weighed. Inside, everything was neatly presented, one compartment housing the mouse and another containing the base charger and battery system. It also came with a good length braided USB-A to USB-C cable, perfect if you want to go wired or charge while gaming.
Once unboxed, the Model O3 felt even lighter than I expected, impressive, considering it’s packing a swappable rechargeable battery pack. The symmetrical shape felt instantly comfortable in hand, and the mechanical clicks had that satisfying tactile response Glorious is known for. The included batteries came pre-charged to about 60%, but I followed the directions and fully charged both before getting started.
Setup was simple, I downloaded the Glorious Core software to check firmware updates and customize my settings. The charging base is cleverly designed, serving as both the 2.4GHz USB dongle dock and the battery charger. It connects via USB-C and features LED indicators for connection, charging, and battery levels.
Performance wise, this thing is a beast. I’ve tested both the Bluetooth and 2.4GHz modes, and honestly, Bluetooth impressed me the most. The mouse feels super responsive with zero noticeable lag, and the battery life has been fantastic. The real magic, though, is in the InfinitePlay battery system. When you remove the main battery pack, there’s an internal reserve battery that keeps the mouse powered on and connected while you swap. No interruptions, no downtime. The name “InfinitePlay” couldn’t be more accurate.
Swapping batteries is seamless, just push the pack in to release, and it pops right out. The only tiny aesthetic quirk is that the battery sits a few millimeters out from the back of the mouse when in place. It doesn’t affect comfort or gameplay at all, just slightly changes the look. But that’s an easy trade off for such a clever system.
The mouse wakes instantly from sleep mode with even the slightest movement. Something that’s always been a gripe of mine with other wireless mice that needed button presses to wake. The RGB lighting is subtle and clean, and that small transparent window showing the battery pack underneath is a cool touch, almost like a peek into the mouse’s techy soul.
What blows me away the most is how lightweight this mouse still is, even with a modular battery system. It glides effortlessly and feels perfectly balanced. Between the comfort, build quality, responsiveness, and truly innovative “InfinitePlay” system, Glorious absolutely nailed it.
At this point, the Glorious Model O3 InfinitePlay has quickly climbed to the top of my favorites list, and honestly, it might just hold the crown for my go to wireless gaming mouse right now.

A Great Concept Held Back by Flawed Performance

As someone obsessed with gaming mice who owns nearly every top-of-the-line model, I was excited for the Model O3—especially its swappable battery. I was a fan of the original Model O but have felt Glorious has fallen behind the competition. Unfortunately, despite some great ideas, this mouse suffers from the same performance issues.
The Good:
- On paper, the specs are top-notch (8,000 Hz polling, 30k DPI sensor, 66 grams, RGB, 130 M optical switches, braided cable, symmetrical shape, USB-C if you choose to go wired, 2-year warranty).
- It has good build quality. The mouse feels great in the hand. There’s no creaking or flex, the buttons are satisfyingly crisp, and they did a surprisingly good job with the sound and feel of the optical switches. Which is a difficult feat.
- The ability to hot-swap batteries is genuinely neat. A secondary internal battery keeps the mouse powered on while you swap, so you never have downtime.
- The charging dock is well-designed. It plugs in via USB-C, has a button to cycle DPI, and includes clear indicator lights for battery, connection, polling rate, and DPI. It even has mounting holes and rubber feet to keep it in place, though be warned: it is massive.
The Bad:
- Inconsistent Core Performance: This is the dealbreaker. The wireless feels noticeably laggy and is a step behind the competition. Clicks are unreliable—sometimes not registering, other times randomly initiating a drag. The scroll wheel is untrustworthy for gaming, as it can activate between steps or not register at all. While I can still perform with it, I find myself making unforced errors that I wouldn't with other mice, which just builds frustration over time.
- Higher polling rate doesn’t work well. These problems become significantly more noticeable when you try to use the advertised 4K or 8KHz polling rates. If you're selling a mouse with high-end features, they need to work. Being forced to stick to 1KHz to have a semi-stable experience defeats the purpose.
- The connection of the wireless is also spotty. Where sometimes it feels good and other times it feels like it struggles to keep connected. Despite being less than a foot away from the mouse. Which is likely contributing heavily to the inconsistent performance.
- The innovative battery system creates its own problems. It makes the mouse feel back-heavy, and you can feel the lip where the battery sits. In one wild moment, a weird flick of my wrist actually caused the battery to eject mid-game.
Verdict:
Overall, using this mouse feels like holding a premium product but operating a budget one. I love the concept, but because of the lag and performance issues that absolutely shouldn't exist at this price point, I simply cannot recommend it. There are far more reliable mice available for the same price or even less.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback on the Model O 3 Wireless and I am sorry to read about the inconsistent experience you've had so far. Based on the review, I am going to assume that the inconsistency primarily occurs when using the mouse in wireless. Just for testing purposes, have you tried using the mouse with a polling rate lower than 1KHz? Additionally, if your motion sync feature is enabled/disabled, can you uncheck/check it and use the mouse like that for a while? Also, is the firmware of the mouse up-to-date? Lastly, the wireless performance can also suffer due to wireless interference in your environment. If you have other wireless devices nearby, can you disconnect them for a bit and try using the mouse like that? If you don't mind, we'd like to try and troubleshoot the issue further and assist you accordingly. I have been using the Glorious Model O 3 mouse for a week and I'm still not sure if I a missing something. Yes, it's a wireless mouse and super light weight. Yes, it has RGB lighting and you can configure it the Glorious Core Software (RGB, DPI, Macros, Button Presets). Yes, it has memory to save options. But the main "wow" different thing is the Glorious Model O 3 has a hot swappable battery (see photos). The Model O 3 comes with 2 batteries, which slide in under the mouse. It's hard to see from the photo but the plug in under the palm rest side and on your desk, it's is more like a little orange line that just sticks out (doesn't interfere with gameplay). The idea that if you're playing and need to swap your battery, you can... there's an internal battery it seems so when you remove the hots swap, it can still play. Although, to be honest, it's hard to remove the battery and swap keep playing. That's why I start to think it's more a gimmick even though I wish more mice had removable batteries. I think you'd need to be playing for a day straight to really need a new battery and some hard core FPS where you were button clicking like crazy to burn through a battery.... I've never run out of battery life on a normal mouse... but there are times I forget to charge, so the Glorious could help you in those circumstances. But I am kind of in the habit of charging overnight mostly. The dongle (see picture) is standard but there's an extra long braided USB A to USB C cable and you can use the hub looking device to both charge your spare battery, use with the included dongle, and monitor DPI and polling. It's all interesting, different, and sure - it's a comfortable mouse, but I still can't work out if the idea is fantastic or a gimmick. So I'm giving it 3 stars. If you're forgetting to charge your wireless mouse and find you can't play a game, this mouse is your savior. But I think for most people, it might not be what you need even if it's a cool novelty.

Fantastic mouse! The shape is comfortable for long term use, but gives a great grip for control.
The RGB is fantastic and much better executed than gaming products usually are. The glow is nice and even and the patterns available really show off the lighting well.
The battery system is the shining star of this mouse though. Being able to swap the battery without losing connection has saved me a few times. I've even played without the battery in just to save the weight.
The base station gives get info about the batteries and the mouse at just a glance, which is great to make sure I'm on the right dpi setting.
Their software is intuitive and easy to make modifications to how my mouse performs and the lighting.
Overall, I'd give this a "must buy!"

I love this mouse. You get so much more in this mouse than anything else in the price bracket (or any other as no one else has the swappable battery).
First it is quite comfortable in my hand. I guess that is a personal preference, but it is very natural. I also feel that it is very light weight, which I appreciate.
Second, I love the swappable battery system. I like to game and being wireless on 8k is important to me. The problem is that it kills the battery (other mice will last less than an hour and then you have to plug it in). Here I can game for hours on 8k, then I can swap it if I need to. The third battery ends up being really nice because I don’t have to pay attention to the battery life. Once it goes to the third battery, I just swap the main battery when it is convenient for me (so never have to do it mid-game).
Third, I like the software. It is well laid out and straightforward to use. It allows me to make the changes I want very easily and I can create different DPI settings, change them on the mouse and have visual verification on the dock which is super helpful. Same goes with polling but I leave that on 8k when gaming and 1k when not gaming.
I highly recommend getting this mouse!

Never-ending Battery

The O3 is probably the most unique mouse to come out in years. It doesn't just have a battery you swap, but a SECOND battery within it connects to when the other runs out. This means you never have to worry about plugging in your mouse mid-game.
If you consider the fact that other gaming brands have infinite charging mousepads but they are an extra hundred bucks, you realize this mouse is an absolute steal for the price. It comes with everything you need. The weight could be lighter, but I think it's found a nice sweet spot... not too heavy, not too light.
If you like unique tech, or you are a gamer and don't want to plug in your wireless mouse, this is the perfect product.
