Yes, I bought this to play while ACTUALLY on a real vacation. Hoping it'll keep the kids from spending a fortune in the hotel's game room -- or at least get them to leave early!

I bought this game thinking we can choose any mini game to play at the start, but in multiplayer mode it’s the same as single player mode.

Fun playing a Wii game on switch, however it seems it wasn’t updated much with the port.

I like Animal Crossing Better Now

I used to play this game back in like 2012 when it was on the Wii (My very first “big” purchase with saved up allowance. Yes, I did many many chores)..... I do really like this game and I do love all the variety of mini games and multi-player option, but the mini games themselves are not all that great. Ultimately got bored, so now I’m playing the new Animal Crossing that I really enjoy esp with everything going on right now with the shut down! Hope all are staying healthy and safe as we all try to navigate through this unusual and uncertain time together.

    fun but short game

Nice for a slow relaxing day to spend time playing various mini games. The backgrounds are beautiful, but some of the characters and animals look too artificial esp the horses. Many of the games are very simple and have poor controls. But this is a variety title so you can't expect them to play like full versions. I was able to clear through all the mini games to the end credits in about 4 hrs without rushing, which is much shorter than I expected for the price. It promises lots of extra play time afterwards to search for treasure chests, complete daily challenges, and take photos of wildlife, but I could not find the motivation to go back and grind out anything else just to get new outfits for your player or more furniture unlocks for the villa. It all seemed completely pointless and unnecessary. It was still pretty fun to go through the mini games and would be even better when I find another person to play with. One really cool feature is that after enough progress, you can unlock dusk/night modes for each area. The snow mountain at night is definitely worth playing again. While the game was pretty good overall, it felt a bit too childish like it was made more for teenagers to play at a sleepover. Still recommended if you want a good sports variety game with lots of activities. There just isn't much replay value after the mini games are done though.
