It charges relatively fast in direct sunlight, and could save your life one day. We’ve all had those, I need one more second of charge moments. This prevents that, anywhere there is sunlight.

Recharged phones, steripen & lights camping

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.You do need full sun shine (it won't work when it's cloudy) and it will take 2-3 hours to charge a phone, but this was great to recharge all our electronics on a 5 day backpacking trip. We'll also store it in our emergency bag for power outages and such. Fairly lightweight and fit in my pack no problem. Great not to have to carry several heavy power sticks that are dead weight once drained. When we weren't charging electronics, we would always top off the power stick to have handy, just in case it got cloudy or we arrived at camp too late in the day. You could hang it off the back of your pack and charge as you go, but I didn't need to.

Energy generated not enough.

It took all day , literally 8hrs just to charge a small battery pack with 100 degree Fahrenheit temperature at that time. It is only good for a day trip but i dnt know if il trust it for a long period of time.

Excellent solar charger
