I bought this battery pack for a couple reasons: to use while hiking, cut my electric bill and as a backup power source for hurrican season. The pack charges via micro USB port, so anything with power (solar, wall, car, etc...) that you can plug the pack into will charge it. (I have found it charges most quickly when hooked up to the Goal Zero solar panel.) I use use this pack at night to charge a Note 8 phone multiple times (usually drained to 50-75%) and my Suunto Spartan watch. It works well, charges fast is durable (I have two small kids and it is surviving them quite well). Lastly, there is one micro USB port and two regular USB ports. I have have charged via the two regular ports with no issue, even while conducting flow through charging. Lastly, the charging ports are covered by USB or a micro USB male plug, all of which can be used to charge another item (from the battery pack). Of note: I have used this battery pack in conjunction with a Goal Zero solar panel and another battery pack. We have seen our eletric bills drop $5-10 a month. I highly recommend this and would purchase another if warranted.

This is my 2nd one as the first was stolen. It works great, it fits in my bike jersey and can even be plugged into my phone at the same time. This is ideal for those century rides, or an all day adventure. Combined with the solar charger when camping you never have to worry about any gadget not being fully charged!

This is a great portable charger. It doesn’t weight a lot and can be very easily recharged. Love it.

I’m a Goal-Zero fan anyway and have purchased their products direct and from retailers before, but this is really a neat little gadget that I didn’t know they made until I stumbled across it atBest Buy. I was specifically looking for a charging bank that had the USB cord for charging the battery ATTACHED. This seems really intuitive, and I have no idea why so few batteries have this feature, but I fell into one that my son later “borrowed”, and wanted another. This has that feature, and if you are a mini-USB user, you get double duty out of this feature. That’s because the cord has one USB end and one mini0USB end, and since it can stay attached to the battery without protruding in any way, you could use it both to charge the battery and then, later, to charge your device WITH the battery. Way cool. I’m an Apple user myself, so I still have to carry a lightning cord, but I’ve gotten accustomed to it and have one on my key ring. Still, that would be my only complaint about this product—offer it with either mini0USB or lightning and it would be perfect. When I had this at work, a coworker immediately went out after work and purchased one because it is so neat. Oh, duh, and it recharges my iPhone about 3 times and keeps my iPAD running for several hours when I’m away from another power source. So it’s functionality as a battery is excellent

Like how the removable charging cable stores/protects two of the three USB ports. Small, lightweight. Using with iPhone XS Max. No problem going through TSA checkpoint. Has a bright flashlight. Good instructions.

This portable charger is definitely worth the purchase, especially for those who need quick charging on the go.

Dropped this right out of the package. It bounced once and was no worse for the drop. Still works great and holds plenty of charge for my phone and tablet when outlets are scarce. Also works well with the Goal Zero solar charger.

Just received; yet to use. But love the light weight & seemingly durability. Practically 100% charge out of box. Using for Grand Canyon trip next week. The real test awaits!

I have had a Guide 10 Plus kit for a few years and purchased this to have a larger and water proof charger for my solar panel. It is quality made like the rest of Goal Zero productsl

Haven’t totally tested this product as designed in the link of Goal Zero solar. However my first four day camping trip was a success and this effectively charged (charge fully before using) well designed charger handled my Apple technology with a ease, I’m sure. I scored on this product as well because it was on sale...keep your eyes open.

I was expecting a solar charger, what I got was something to plug into a solar charger it Doesn't Solar charge without it... It a very good product just very misleading!!!

I got it on sale at good price. It might be handy if a storm knocks out power. Right? But I didn’t read that it needs to be charged via an electric outlet first. Days later a storm knocked out power! So I ended up charging my phone in the car. It’s charged now with lights on it so I presume it will work but I’m still not sure it can be solar charged without additional solar panels, an unexpected additional cost. It was on clearance. Maybe a dead end product. Verdict still out on this one.

It's portable and the fact that I have it lessens anxiety of my cell or/and laptop batteries dying especially when the last bar is showing or the notice of say 15% charge left. I have not visited my doctor's office since I purchased it but, I no doubt know my blood pressure will be lower as a result of this item.

Awesome purchase. It may be on the heavier side but worth all what’s in the package. Loved the fact that it’s waterproof and solar for me to take camping or when I’m out hiking or kayaking. I’m using right now traveling around airports for my job. It’s a great buy!!

Pros: it’s very portable and durable. Cons: seems hard to use and reset at times. It could be operator error too though.

great product works well. I cant wait to set the Solar panels for alternative charging and lessen my "footprint".... I like the durability and functionality of this charger... better then my last one (a different manufacturer)

I always wanted to get goal zero products. Their products are well designed, and very user friendly. This charger allows me to fully charge my phone 3 times, and I am able to charge my iPad too. Amazing!!
